This dehydrator holds quite a good amount of food. The six trays allowed a full 2 1/2 pound eye of round roast sliced for jerky to be loaded. It is relatively quiet and works well. The temperature selector is in centigrade, however, so with most applications conversation would have to be done. The unit feels a bit flimsy being constructed of rather thin sheet metal and care must be taken when closing the door. Time will tell how well it holds up.
I just received this dehydrator so its too soon to judge durability, but I really like what I have seen so far. My only concern is there is no drip tray. I improvised and lined the bottom rack with parchment, and that worked well enough. I just wish there was a built in pan/tray I could remove for easy cleaning. Still 4.7 star rounded up to 5, though.
Great product, good size for any food you need to dehydrate. the only down side it don't come with a clean up tray for at the butter, other than that great machine!!
I love this product. I eat dried bananas all the time. The five trays make it easy to dry a lot of different fruit. It also doesn’t take too long to dry the fruit.
