I PURCHASED AN XXL ACCORDING TO THE SUGGESTED MEASUREMENT CHART. I INITIALLY THOUGHT THE PRODUCT WAS TOO SMALL BECAUSE I HAD TO HOLD IN MY STOMACH TO FASTEN THE FIRST LOOPS. IT TOOK A COUPLE OF TIMES OF WEARING IT TO FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THE COMPRESSION. WHEN I SAT DOWN I FELT IT ODD AS IF I NOT TAKING A NORMAL INHALE AND EXHALE, IT WAS NOT TIGHT FIT AROUND MY STOMACH. THE TRAINER DOES REMOVE GIVE YOU THAT SMOOTHE APPEARANCE UNDER YOUR CLOTHING. I REALLY LOVE THAT!!!! I WEAR IT WITH CERTAIN TYPES OF BLOUSES NOT EVERYDAY. I DID LOSE A FEW INCHES AROUND MY BELLY. THE ONLY CON IS I PURCHASED THE LONG TORSO IT IS OK BUT I PLAN TO PURCHASE THE SHORT TORSO TO SEE IF HOW IT FITS. I THINK IT WORTH THE $$ AND IT NOT EXPENSIVE FOR THE RESULTS. PURCHASING THE CORRECT SIZE IS KEY, DONT BUY A ONE SIZE TOO SMALL AND TRY TO SQUEEZE INTO IT, YOU WILL NOT BE COMFORTABLE AND IT MAY BE HARMFUL FOR YOUR BODY.
I have a 27" waist and medium short fits perfect on me...I am not short but my waist is (the regular size cinchers were completely covering my hips)...so far I can tell you right out of the bag the first time I put it on (only the widest hooks because this is my first time waist training), I have no problem fitting it but all those little hook and eyes are quite a painful effort to the hands (and I'm relatively young and there's nothing wrong with my hands ie arthritis etc)...even with no tension (actually able to make it loose)...so I'm hoping those become easier the more you use them. Also I noticed an immediate back relief on the looser setting (low back pain)...so if you are looking for pain relief you probably don't need to get one that is super tight...anyway despite the hook issues it was nice to find one small enough (length wise) to feel like what it is actually supposed to feel like...I'm sure it won't take me long to size down if I can get the hang of the hooks.

I’m 5’ 1” and 175 lbs. My waist measurement said 44” so I ordered a 5XL according to the chart. It was too big. It provided no compression at all. Returning it was super easy.
