I researched a couple of lights before purchasing these. I shoot YouTube videos for my crafting business and needed something extra for when I work in the evening or when it’s cloudy outside and I decided to go with these. One is enough most of the times but I use 2 to balance the light on both sides. Didn’t want large soft boxes that would take up too much room at least not right now. Packaged well both of them are in great condition upon arrival, the legs are sturdy. I’m pleased with this product.
I bought these to use in food photography and they will work fine for that purpose. They are small and bright. I added a home-made velum diffuser and that helped tone down the brightness. For the money, I think these are a good deal. You might have to fiddle with your setup to make them suit your needs. Like I will need to put these on some small boxes or something so they don't cast such a shadow, but I've had to fiddle with every light I've used. The photo I uploaded used one lamp that had a diffuser on it. I haven't edited the image.
I just got these lights today. If I'm not mistaken I paid 35 or $36 for them. Which makes him roughly $15 and some cents each. I will say that they are a lot better than I thought they were going to be. The light is very bright but I don't think these lights are meant to be the only lights you use when you are recording a video. In my opinion these lights are more for video than they are for picture. The lights can be harsh but if they are well balanced and you have some distance from your face they should be fine. I own a ring light and I plan on using these as the side lights for my videos. They will definitely do the job and they don't get overly hot very quickly. The downside of this is the legs that are supposed to be into the handled part of the light is a little cheap but they do support the light and I'm also having an issue with trying to get the legs back into the handle part of the light. I'm not going to complain because these are very good for an affordable price. These lights do not have a dimmer so be mindful of that. The shipping and handling was great nothing was broken or misplaced.
These lights are great beginners for people who are doing videos. They're affordable and I do believe with great care they will last a long time.
A few small quibbles - the legs are metal - might scratch some surfaces - you may want to put something under them. They are nice and bright, compact. Clear diffuser and amber filter/diffuser comes in package. One of mine failed to come with an amber filter - a quick message to the company and they sent me an entire replacement unit no questions asked. Very good customer service.
I shoot jewelry and these lights make my shot so easy. I move the lights around to get the best sparkle. On one, the tripod does not extend out, the other, won't close. I have 4 lights- they're great, hand-held, or propped up with clamps. Love them anyway.

I was worried that these wouldn't be that bright but I was really surprised how bright they actually are. For the price, it works well. It's not the best quality but it works just as advertised, and the price is right. Great for a light box product photos for someone just starting out who doesn't want to spend a lot.

These are small but very bright. In retrospect, it would have been better if they had a dimmer adjustment, but as long as you know what they do, they can be used effectively. I wanted them as table top units to use in recording videos at my desk. They work for that when I bounce the light and use the yellow filters. I think they will prove outstanding for product lighting and similar purposes.
These lights met all my expectations, I love that they don't get hot. Worked perfectly for my light box and my photos are just as good as when taken out in natural light.

I use these for a small product photography studio, and they're great! They provide all the light I need, and I can leave them on for hours without worrying about them overheating. They're also great for general lighting, and I use them to light up my spray booth for painting models, when I'm not using them for the studio.
One of the lights in the original set that I bought failed when I plugged it in. EMART jumped right on the opportunity to correct the issue and sent out a replacement free of charge, and very quickly. All of the working lights have been left on for at least 24 hours straight to test them, and I haven't had any problems yet.
The only shortcoming on my mind is the lack of some sort of 1/4x20 mount so I could put them on a tripod or something. I knew this when I bought them, though. You can detach the stand, it's just a matter of adapting them to a ball head after removing the stands.
