Dice PU Leather Folding Hexagon Tray w/Purple Velvet for RPG, DND, Other Dice Games and Storage
Pros:
* Easily breaks down and can be stored anywhere you could put a folder or book
* Stays put together during use, even when rolling heavy metal dice
* Large enough to support rolling many dice at the same time without leaving them cocked
* Muffles the sounds of the dice
Cons
* Difficult to construct (though once you get the hang of it it's fine)
* A bit awkward to fit on a tabletop if you have a bunch of other things already on it (but again not a hard fix)
* Not easily/practically reversible (but I'm not sure why you would want to reverse it, or why it's advertised that way)
If you are looking for a nice dice tray but don't want to fork over a bunch of cash for an awkward-to-carry, heavy, loud wooden dice tray, then this is a perfect product! I use it regularly when I run sessions of Dungeons and Dragons in order to keep my dice from falling off of our table/into the crack between the tables. It's mainly helpful because I can easily slip it in between books in my backpack so that everything still fits inside when I am packing up. I gave it four stars because the product could be better quality (felt, buttons, &c.), but for the price, I have certainly gotten my use out of it.
General warning: If you fill it up with dice, don't try to use it to carry them (it's not meant for this). I tried to pick it up once with well over 100 dice inside and the buttons snapped under the weight. Dice. Everywhere.
It came with some kind of sticky stain on one corner. Come on! Is it that hard to manufacture a product as simple as this without stains? Of if you can't, where is your quality control?
This was a perfect addition to my gaming gear, folds flat to fit in my backpack along side my books and then does a wonderful job of corralling my dice from flying off the table and does it's job quietly. The felt lining feels sturdy and effective, and the outer material feels like it's going to last a good long time. Adds a considerable amount padding for throwing metal dice, and takes multiple dice like a pro without complaint.
The angled inside edges when snapped together gives a high enough wall to keep dice inside and enough bounce that you get a good random roll instead of a dull 'thud'.
Other folks in my group have different shaped trays and they are all positive about them as well.
I keep this always buttoned so I have not had any issues with it popping loose or the button ripping out. A nice pleather exterior and a soft felt interior. Really quiets the dice and keeps them in play.
Hack, dodge, and run away from Mi-Gos, Hounds of Tindalos, and Mr. Whately himself with no fear of losing 'dem bones!
This item is well worth the price. It is a dice tray to soften the sounds of rolling dice on the table. I use it for the daily pocket drops, wallet, keys, coins. I like how you can toss an MP3 player or Phone into this container and not worry about scuffing the front or back. The item ships flat and it takes less than a minute to snap each side.
A word of caution: To construct this item you snap the rivet grommets closed at each section. It is easy to do but if the item does not snap do not force it, instead move to the next and return later. Realign the snap and try again. If you repeatedly snap close and open the grommet it will fall apart and/or possibly pop out. One of mine is now loose from just opening and closing it twice.

Getting it buttoned was a tad annoying as some would come unsnapped as I put together the others, but once they are all snapped it hasn't come apart. Good quality but due to size I haven't used it much and went for a more compact wooden tray.
I keep it in my work bag with my DogMight Dragon Sheath ( You never know when your gonna need to play d&d.) And its nice to have for that. Use it on Game nights for games with multiple dice like betrayal, or Mansions of Madness.
Its held up so far.
Great for the price. Flattened, it's not much wider than the 5E handbook so it's a great for in the small tote I use for gaming. The snaps seem solid but I haven't used it very long. The velvet is reasonable for this price and the color is as much as it looks in the pic. I'm not sure how the outer material will hold up, only time will tell.
it works well for its purpose. The snaps are a little loose. i used a hammer and pipe to gently tighten them but they still come apart easily but not so easily that it impedes use even with metal dice
It looks exactly as pictured; clean button assembly and deep purple velvet. There was no plastic smell or anything like that. It worked perfectly during our first D&D session. :) One word of warning, I didn't realize that if I put the dice container on the tray during storage it would compress the velvet fibers and leave a mark.
