This product is awesome! I would suggest using it with a gel nail polish. I used Sally Hansen Miracle gel in blacky-o as the base coat. The steps I used to get this look was to apply a thin gel nail color in two coats to clean nails, wait five minutes, then apply a thin gel top coat from the same brand, wait two minutes, and then add the chrome powder using the included applicator. Glitter gets everywhere but that’s the nature of glitter, but after about ten minutes my nails were dry and I used a cosmetic brush followed buy hand washing to clean up.
I’m a licensed nail tech in the US and I have to admit that these chrome powders are very high quality. They came double packaged, with a bunch of eyeshadow applicators and aloooot of product in those little jars. If you’ve done chrome before you know that you don’t need much product to get a full coverage. For the swatches I did, I use a black gel polish and a no wipe top coat along with a silicone applicator to smooth out the surface (you can use the applicators it came with or your finger) dust off excess and top coat. They look great and can change depending on the base color you use. Two of the powders are silver however one of them is smoother/brighter than the other in person! Exactly how it is pictures above! Completely satisfied!
I was thrilled when I used these particular pigments. They were very easy to use and a little goes a long way. I absolutely love the champagne chrome!! If you haven’t tried these out before, you won’t be disappointed. You can also use these with just a regular top coat, just make sure that it’s not totally dry and has a tiny bit of tacky for the pigment to adhere to and just lightly buff.
I love these powders! They gave me the perfect chrome nails without using a gel nail polish which can be hard to do. The only downfall is that the “rose gold” and “gold” are too similar.

I like these little multi taskers, because not can you ONLY use them for nails, but I also use them in resin and polymer clay jewelry pieces and the shimmery/mirror effect is quite nice! A TINY bit goes a long way! I like to try different embeds and colours to mix with my resin and clay, and these are great, PLUS they look fabulous as intended ON your nails :)
I have never tried rub on powders before and have always been curious to see if the mirror effect was as stunning as the picture shows. I was surprised at how easy the application process was and even more surprised when I actually got a mirror effect. It's not as mirrory as the ones in the picture, however, there is mirror effect. I was a little confused at first when I opened the package because the champagne and silver look almost identical. However I believe the silver is more finely grounded up than the champagne. The silver had the best mirror effect out of the 3. There were really only two bad things about the product. One, you can't tell what's the silver and what's the champagne color because they're all labled with a 02 sticker. Two, after you apply the second gel coat it dulls the mirror effect. The gold and what I call the champagne have more of an older mirror effect while the silver is a new mirror.
beautiful, but it is a little bit difficult to remove it from skin surface. and it doesn't need a color base as it just covered everything.
