Once I opened the box I couldn't wait to leave feedback. The packaging was great, the millet was in a plastic bag and tied shut. Now for the good stuff, when opened the first thing I did was smell it and it smelled fresh and clean like the outdoors. The stalks are large, plump and fresh. The only place I have seen quality millet like this is from a supplier (don't think I can give their name here) I have used for a very long time but have priced themselves out of my price range. I can not say enough good things about BirdDog Depot's millet I will be buying from them again, and it this product is any indication of their quality I might try other items them. I took and chance and I am glad I did.
Didn't quite know what to expect. I had purchased another brand of 25-pound millet and the box was a complete mess. Sprays were just thrown in .. most were broken - most you could see though .. most only had millet on one side. There was at least 1-inch of lose seed on the bottom of the box. The Birds LOVE Spray Millet arrived today - inside the box were 5 plastic bags of millet so the inside of the box was clean. The millet is thick and plumb and it looks beautiful and I'll be able to feed ALL of it to my birds. Thanks Birds LOVE! :-)
This is the best millet spray I have ever purchased The sprays are long and fat with nice round nuggets. This is the only kind my conure likes, and my millet-addicted cockatiel is on cloud nine. There is nothing but munching sounds and happy chirping coming from them. These sprays are easily double or triple the size of the sprays I buy at the pet store. There was virtually no waste - much less loose millet than there is at the bottom of pet store bags. Literally my only complaint is that they packed this in a bag which would have been great to keep using, but the packing tape was stuck to it and I ripped the bag up opening the box. It took a lot of gallon bags to repackage it!
I purchase these for my cockatiels after I got tired of spending $6 at the local pet store for a few broken sprigs of millet. These arrived on time and not one was broken. They are beautiful full whole millet sprigs. They are fresh and aromatic, and my cockatiels love them. For comparison I've attached a pic of one of these sprigs on the right, and a mass produced pet store sprig on the left. I definitely feel better giving my birds these, and the price is so much better. I will be purchasing again for sure.
On my first buy I bought 25 pounds of millet. my parakeets really love them the package arrive in perfect condition. the branches look thick and nice dont mind these few loose seeds the branches are in perfect condition and dont worry about thoes negative comments about it, its a great buy. and ill buy again.

Product from BirdDog Depot was packaged probably the best I've seen in 15 years buying millet. When I buy millet I cut off the stems and cut each spray in half for repackaging before storing. These sprays were none too big but very healthy looking. They were so fresh that I don't know if I even lost a seed in repackaging. Can hardly wait 'til Ruby needs more!

I've been buying small bags of millet on the subscribe and save program, but they went out of stock so I purchased the 1-pound Fat and Lovely bag of millet. The millet sprays are twice the size of the ones I was getting. My cockatiels looked so happy when I put these fat millets into their cage and they wasted no time devouring them.
I didn't count the number of sprays in the 1-pound bag, but it's easily three times more than what I was getting in the small bags and the price is competitive. The sprays look good and I didn't see insects. They come shipped (inside the Amazon box) in a clear plastic bag with drawstrings. I'll be buying this product from now on. The quality is good and the price is right.
I love the looks of the millet in the package so far. My GREAT COMPLAINT is that it was delivered in my driveway when I have a porch. The only way I would have known it was there was because I was on my way to work tonight and it was also getting ready to rain. You can check the weather in Winder,Ga for 1/23/19. I will never order from this company again if you can’t get your delivery guys to get off their a..... and walk 15 more steps and put the box under cover. Thank you. WOW! My birds 💕💕💕 love this product I have a various assortment of birds from finches to doves to parakeets,cockatiels guinea hens and peacocks. The bigger birds like it when I pull all the seeds off by holding the stem and zipping my fingers down it releases small chunks and they gobble it up in no time. The individual stems are all so full of seeds. I am so happy with this product I will be ordering it from now on please keep the price the same as it is a good value
