For a $30 fitness tracker, you get a ton of features that are just as good as those found in higher end fitness devices. It's a really well made device with a great screen and easy to use/understand UI (although the set-up guide is a bit confusing since it is translated poorly into English).

When you get the device, you pair it with your phone and the H-Band app. The app lets you add more customization to your fitness tracker. Such as changing the style, adding features (stopwatch, find my phone, etc.), and it provides graphs of your activity and sleep. I'm very impressed by the range of features the fitness tracker can do. My favorite features are the alarm clock, find my phone, and text notifications. It would be nice if you could change the intensity of the vibration for notifications though, as it is quite strong, but it's not a big deal. It would also be nice if you could adjust the screen brightness. But neither of these things are deal breakers, just suggestions.

Other perks are that it fits my wrist well, the battery lasts as advertised, it's waterproof, and the turn-to-wake feature works well.

It's really a great value and I'm glad I got this tracker instead of a more expensive one when they do practically the same things.

Excellent device that has all the useful features of a fitness tracker without all the hype and extra cost.
Pros:
1) Battery does well holding charge. It goes at least a few days at a time without a charge.
2) The heart rate monitor works. I've tried other products that sometimes work and often don't. This one works.
3) The Android app does a nice job presenting and archiving the daily stats on steps, heart rate (automatically sampled every 30 minutes), hours and quality of sleep, etc. The app tries to get you to set up an account to use their services, however it gives the option to use the app without logging in (and is still fully functional). Presumably there are some features on their web site that I could be missing out on.
4) The blue wristband is vibrant and looks great. The product photo doesn't do it justice how nice this looks. This is a great watch even for someone that just wants to know the time without pulling their phone out of their pocket.
5) There are setting for 2 other clock faces, but in my opinion the default one (shown in product photo) is the best.
6) Plenty of other configurable details that allow for more customization, if desired. For example you can choose whether the face will light up when you turn your wrist (and what hours the feature will activate). Some of the others are reminders if you're too sedentary during specific parts of the day, smart phone camera control, daily alarm, notifications from smart phone, etc.
7) Water resistant (OK for shower, not for swimming)
8) The price is fantastic.
9) The material quality and construction both are very good. There's nothing cheap about the look or feel to the watch.

Cons:
1) The charger has a somewhat cheap feel to it. It requires a little bit of practice to snap it into place.
2) When my baby wakes up in the middle of the night and I get up for 15 minutes then go back to sleep, the sleep analysis chart decides to only credit me for the second half of the night. I would prefer the app be able to figure this out, or at the best least show me the whole data set for the night rather than window the time range to the second half of the night.

I wanted an inexpensive tracker to see if using a fitness tracker would help with my health and fitness goals. I got more than I bargained for with the Akaso. The watch is as simple as it is useful. The interface is easy to read, and the only settings I changed were the units from metric to imperial.
I’m not a watch guy but have worn it for 4 days straight with no discomfort. The strap is soft and smooth to adjust. The battery has lasted 4 days with no problem.
In addition to tracking fitness and sleep, the Akaso tracker also will send updates and notifications from your phone. The only hitch is that you need to have the H Band app active on your phone, and you can’t answer the phone from the watch.
Check out the video for a quick and easy run through of the tracker and the app.
The only problem I have is that the “Quick Reference Guide” and the app user interface has poor translation. If you are going to produce a product for sale in an English speaking country, at least get the correct translation in your literature and interface. The poor English translation doesn’t lower the exceptional range of uses, ease of use, and quality of this fitness tracker.

This was my first purchase for a fitness watch. I bought it for my dad who just got a heart surgery and he needed a heart rate tracker.

The most important thing for him was the accuracy of the heart rate and it is spot on. When the nurses visited and checked his heart rate, we compared their equipment and the watch. The watch was very accurate and sometimes 1 or 2 numbers different.

What I liked about the watch was how easy it was for my dad to use. He is 67 yrs old and learning a new electric device is a dreading task. But he got used to it in a day or two. The app records the heart rate, sleep pattern, steps, and other functions throughout the day and night as long as you are wearing it. We were surprised at how accurate the sleeping pattern was recorded: when and how many times you are awake in the middle of the night and the quality of the sleep.

The watch also notifies you of incoming phone calls and texts. But the texts through different apps like kakao doesn't show up.

Few things I wish for the improvement:
1. The app gets disconnected from the watch often. I don't know if I'm the only one who's having this issue. It still records all the function even when it's disconnected. It's just a little annoying that I have to keep connecting.
2. Better manual: Sometimes mysterious symbols pop up on the watch. Like a heart with an exclamation point or confetti. I'm assuming that means you reached the limit of heart rate I set or reached the daily steps goal but I can only assume. I wished the manual explained what those mean.
3. Heart rate limit: On the phone app, you can set the alarm for the heart rate, so that you would know when the heart rate is too high or low. But it never worked for me. The symbol with heart and ! I mentioned earlier shows up randomly.

Overall, I like the watch for the simplicity and the accuracy of what my dad needed. I bought an another pair for my mom as well and she likes all the instant health info she can check.

I got my notifications from several apps, alarm works perfectly, tracking device is good as well as the heart monitor. Moreover, It works with my iPhone and I can take pictures too. It is great..!

Description

I plan on giving this fitness tracker to my wife and daughter for Christmas and gave it a good testing to make sure it would work well for them. I wore it and a >$300 tracker on my other wrist to see how well it did. It really exceeded my expectations for the price! The fitness tracking of steps and heart rate was within 10% of the values from my much more expensive watch. The bluetooth connection with my iPhone was easy to pair and the app worked well. I especially liked the notifications from my phone and how the app allows you to choose which apps to pass on notifications.

Pros
-Accurate numbers
-Multiple watch face displays
-Easy to use app
-Light, comfortable with a low profile strap
-phone notifications
-Sitting alarm to tell you to move every 30 min
-Works as a remote to trigger photos with your phone

Cons
-Hard to see outside in bright light

I love this watch. My favorite features are the sleep monitoring and how it checks your heart rate every 30 minutes.

Great watch. Light weight and fits great! Love that it! Great battery life.Nice fitness tracker for the price.

This was my first time trying a fitness tracking device, and I thought I'd go a cheaper route to see if it was worth it. Overall, I really like this tracker! My wife lovingly calls it a "FakeBit" :-D

PROS:
The fit is good, and I found I don't have to have it CLAMPED tightly to my wrist in order for the heartbeat sensor to work. The heartbeat and sleep sensors are both SCARY accurate (how it differentiates between "deep sleep" and "light sleep" I'll never know), and the data is interesting to have.

The #1 thing I like about this tracker was the integration with my phone's texts/prompts/messages. I didn't know that this feature came with the device, but I ended up really enjoying just glancing down at my wrist to figure out who was calling. Not sure if this comes standard with every fitness tracker, but this alone is a good reason to keep the thing long after the interest in the biometric data is gone. The charge lasts about 3 to 3.5 days, and I have a reasonably active phone, so that thing was buzzing quite a bit. The Bluetooth range is pretty decent too. I can have my phone pretty much anywhere in the house and it still links.

I tested this device on vacation in Florida, and it's DEFINITELY waterproof. Also, the instructions say not to take it into the sea for long periods of time, but I was in the ocean for 2-3 hours almost every day, and it worked perfectly well. Not sure what that's about, but I'd say go ahead and take it in the ocean.

CONS:
The biggest con is that water contact seems to activate the button. When I was in the shower, or in the ocean, there were many times where "sport mode" would turn on by itself, and it was hard to disengage until I was able to get it dry. Not sure if this is the case with all fitness trackers/fitbits, though.

The only other con I can think of is that the charging device is a bit hard to get into position. It's got two prongs that hit the back of the device and you have to get them JUST right in order for it to charge. Might be harder for people with bad eyesight.

SUMMARY:
All in all, for the price (I mean, heck, this thing is easily HALF of the cost of branded fitness trackers on the market) you can't really beat this. I would say give this a try before buying the more expensive guys - you might like it! :)

Disclosure, AKASO offered me this fitness tracker for free if I'd review it.

First, it does what it's supposed to...track your steps, heartbeat, sleep, with a few extra functions like text and phone call notification. It will also do a lot of social media notifications but I don't have any of those.

To start with, the clock display shown on the web page is a sharp red and white. However, the actual display is pink and white. Huh? The nice thing is I could change it to an analog display which I preferred anyhow.

I used it a during a hike and it kept track of my steps and heartbeat nicely.

Notifications - this was the most intriguing feature to me and it worked as I hoped. It notified me in a discreet and easy way.

Bluetooth interface - the bluetooth works fine but as expected only within about 20-25 feet of my phone. When I got further away from my phone, it notified me that I was disconnected. But as expected when I came closer to my phone it automatically reconnected and notified me of messages.

The most frustrating thing I encountered was that I could not close the app on my phone and have it run in the background. When I closed the app, it would disconnect from bluetooth and I would have to manually reconnect when I started my app. I could use other apps with no problems while the HBand 2 app was running, but I like to periodically close all apps.

The battery lasts for about 3 days. The battery meter is deceiving. On the first day the battery meter goes from 100% to about 20%. It stays at about 20% for a couple days until it dies.

The best part of this tracker is the poor English translations. The app instructs us to "Please insist on wearing." Even better are the BMI categories:
Skinny
Normal
Chubby
Obesity
Very Fat

Overall, does it's job. For what you pay, it's a great deal. If you paid more, I'd expect some more refinement and a fluent English speaker to review translations.
