Vic Firth American Classic 2BN -- nylon tip

Vic Firth American Classic 2BN -- nylon tip

I must say Vic Firth's are the best. Based on a 2b nylon tip size. I am a seasoned drummer for over 30 years. I recently bought every brand out there. Well since TAMA PowerTools are not availble. Here are the results:
1st-Vic Firth,
2nd-Zildjian,
3rd-ProMark.
4th-Boso (they didn't have 2b nylon tip)
This final talley is not what I expected. All 4 of those are going in my paying gig bag.
As for practice sticks, for a lesser price, I can only recomend Perfektion Colored Sticks - 7 pairs/box, all those other less priced 2b's, where way too light & I had to super glue every nylon head back into place, before use. If you prefer wood tip 5b or smaller sizes then Boso sticks may be your 1st or 2nd choice.

I've been playing drums for over 13 years, tried out every brand of every detail you might think of. I've used a ton of different brands and models of drumsticks from the ProMark 2B's to the Regal Tip Deaths and even all the way to the STLs. But for some reason I always found myself going back to these. Truth be told, they do feel great, sound great, they offer great amounts of speed with awesome control, I really dig the attack and articulation the nylon tip offers, not to mention the part that the tip has never broken on me, unlike the wood tip. That being said considering that some people who have heard me play say that I kill the drums every time I hit them, and if that's true, these are a heck of a pair of sticks since my last pair I bought well over a year ago and they still keep on going and are even in good shape. Overall, I highly recommend these if you're looking for a solid, heavy stick. If you're looking for something lighter any other Vic Firth nylon tip will work great. Contrary to what some people might say, never has the tip flown away on me.

Good sticks. I should have got a size smaller though. These are for big hands!

PERFECT BALANCE....TOTALLY STRAIGHT...SOLID

Good sticks, great for the beginner and the price was great. Come in all the sizes usually used by band directors, make sure you know which size/type your child's band director wants them using before purchasing. There are differences in sticks for those not experienced in it.

These are my new favorite, they're heavy but lighter than marching sticks. I have grown to like the sound of the Nylon tip over wood, I like the extra crispness of the attack on the hi hat.

I've never received a bad Vic Stick, they're awesome.

Good music to all.

Great quality. My sister is a drummer and she usually breaks a lot of drum sticks but this ones last twice as long. They are not heavy so they are easy to manage

These are the only kind of drum sticks my son likes.

Very strong sticks with a very balanced feel. Great durable nylon tips.

She loves them and they aren't broke so I guess we are off to a great start! Currently being used as a first level set of snare drum sticks for middle school band.
