I've trusted Anker as a brand for quite some time now and these cords are nothing less than the standard that I have become used to from them. The braiding is thick and feels premium, the plug has a nice *snap* feel when plugging into my Samsung Galaxy Note8, and they charge just as fast as my factory Samsung cord that came with my phone.

I originally stumbled on these (USB Type C Cable, Anker PowerLine+ USB C to USB 3.0 cable (6ft), High Durability, for Samsung Galaxy Note 8) and on that page, I was redirected to a "new model" which I promptly clicked on because typically when there is a "new" model, it is improved in some way. After purchasing that new model and receiving it, I found out that it is USB 2.0 to USB C instead of the previous USB 3.0 to USB C, which made a big difference for the application I was intending to use it for. Now, some of this is Amazon user stupidity because I should have read the description of the product as soon as I clicked the link to the new and improved model, but if it is not exactly the same product but improved, it should not be labeled as such. This is not a "new" model, this is a "different" model. I was originally going to return them and purchase the Anker cords I originally found, but these cords are just too premium and feel so good that I cancelled the return and have relegated them to a few spare USB C charging cords around my house, which you can never truly have enough of. If that doesn't speak to the quality of this product, then I don't know what does, because Anker convinced me to keep a product I did not even want or need with said quality.

This is a nicely crafted cable, I like the quality and feel very much. This is only enhanced by how affordable it is. My only concern is how it only charges my iPad Pro 11 2018 model at about 7 Watts from an Apple iPad charging brick, USB-A. I have a few of these old bricks laying around from previous purchases. I also have a USB-A charging nightstand so I was excited to find this cable that has a USB-C end and USB-A. If it was possible to get the full 12 Watts from the Apple charging brick that would be about a 50% increase. I have sent a similar message to this to Anker and await their response.
Take aways for iPad Pro 2018 11"
- Still a good enough charging speed for overnight charging
- Quality look and feel to the cable
- Good price
- Great brand

Photos. (using a Drok USB Tester and a Outlet power tester along with an Apple 12W brick)
-One photos shows 8.5 Watts @ the outlet and 7.19 Watts after the power brick
-Other photo shows 5.06 Volts and 1.42 Amps.
-Some users report a 12 watt charger taking about 4.5 hours to charge a 10.5" iPad. Just a guess, with this cable the 11" should be fully charged after a full night of charging ~ 8 hours. (not tested)

**Both the title and the description of the product made me think it would work fine**

Anker USB C Cable, [2-Pack 6Ft] Premium Nylon USB-C to USB-A Fast Charging Type C Cable, for Samsung Galaxy S9/ S8/ Note 8, Ipad Pro 2018, LG V20/ G5/ G6, Pixel 2 XL, and More
-Universal Compatibility: Designed to work flawlessly with any device that uses a USB-C port.

Love Anker products I never use the OEM cables due to the fact that Anker cables are better overall. The quality of these are the same i expect fro. all Anker products, durable. But the only problem I have with these that really irritates me is the slightest pull of the cable and the cable detaches I leave my phone charging as i drive and by the time I arrive to work I find the cable had unplugged from my phone or if I have it plugged to my portable battery in my backpack it has come unlpugged I thought it was my phone but my previous cables and OEM cables fit snug I don't kniw if this is a problem or I just got some lemons

Edit Anker contacted me and shipped me out replacement cables that worked great good company to buy from

After reading some articles that using cheap chinese no name brand usb-c cables can potentially damage your phone, I decided to pay the extra money to get these Anker cables. They fast charge like a boss, and I have zero fear that they cable will damage my new Samsung note 9. If I'm going to spend $1000 on a phone, I should at least spend the 7-8 dollars for quality cables! I confirmed that the cable does indeed fast charge.

Like some others, I missed that these cables were not USB-A 3.0. I decided to live with that, but found out that they wouldn't transfer data to or from my PC. Anker's Customer Service sent an RMA to return the cables, and just before I packed them up, I decided to try plugging them into the USB 2.0 jack in the back of my PC. (I had been trying them in the front-panel USB 3.0 jacks, figuring on backward-compatibility). Lo and behold, they worked fine in the USB 2.0 jack! A little disappointed to have the much slower data transfer rate, but they're great quality cables, and Anker's service is extraordinary.

Update this will handle qc Qualcomm quick charge speed 3.0 needed for usb -c input/output

Changing to 5 stars !

The description clearly says quick charge 3.0
Compatible with Quick Charge 3.0’
Charge up to 80% in just 30 minutes while using devices and chargers compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge

Misleading is 2.0 as it states on package

These cables are awesome. The material is very flexible (not stiff unlike some other braided cables). They feel premium, they charge my OnePlus 5T very fast. I am thoroughly impressed!!

I love the Anker brand. I bought a battery for my Note 4 a few years ago and that we the best $20 I spent and made my phone last a year longer than it normally would have.

These cords are nicely wrapped in nylon and great quality and since I had such great luck with that battery, it was a no brainer to pay the money (still inexpensive) for these cords because of the brand. Adapters with the generic cords you see at various stores are a gamble and could short out the phone -- which almost happened to me with my Note 8 and prompted me to find new ones... and here we are!
Highly suggest for replacement or extra cords.

I am a UBER driver and it is important for me to provide the customer with good service. When I started working, I made a big mistake - I bought cheap cables. and I got two problems: the cable broke and was not working stably. and then I decided to buy these cables. the manufacturer gives a guarantee and it says a lot. I work every day and not once did these cables fail. Not much time has passed since the purchase, but I have confidence that the cables will continue to work. I put 5 stars because indirectly these cables help me get 5 stars in my work too.

These are Anker cables, so I already knew what I was getting. They are thicker than standard cables and have a solid nylon outer shell. They are incredibly durable. They do work with Motorola Turbocharge, which is good. If you need a 6 ft cable 2-pack, you should definitely go with this. If you have any problems whatsoever, just contact Anker customer service and provide the details they ask for. They excel at customer service!
