This mouse is excellent. It works, and it's very quiet.
Set-up was simple - insert battery, plug in the USB dongle, click. It is comfortable to use and functions nicely.
We got this mouse so that the clicks would not bother people sitting nearby. It meets all our expectations.

Comparison to Mofi G16 -
We bought the Mofi G16 wireless "whisper quiet" mouse when we got the ShhhMouse and reviewed both favorably.
The Mofi cost less and is a bit smaller but the scroll is not as quiet as on the ShhhMouse. We gave the Mofi 4 stars, and the ShhhMouse 5 stars.
My previous wireless Logitech mouse has a loud click feed back, like all normal mouse. I would be awake through 1 am doing college assignments and my previous mouse was loud enough to keep my dorm partner awake!. So i bought this after verifying through reviews that the click would be soft. After testing it was way quieter than a normal mouse.In the night when everything is silent, this Shhhmouse only emits a soft quite click, its not annoying like my normal mouse. It was easy to install on windows 10, plug and play. However I did had to adjust mouse sensitivity. For $10 don't expect high quality material, overall it stays quite. Now I need to search for a quiet keyboard. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it does not have a left,right mechanism on the wheel to navigate through previous pages on a website.
UPDATE: After 5 months, still almost totally silent, still feels the same. Daily use 4-6 hours (my main work mouse). The completely (10/10) silent turned into 9/10 after the first week, and stayed there for 5 months. So far great!
This little mouse is a surprise. Even after a little while when the "completely noiseless" feature wears off, it's still very quiet and remains this way. All other functions are reliable, I've had no problem at all with it. It seems to go to sleep on inactivity and have to click it once to wake it up. But it behaves like a more expensive mouse. Totally worth its money.
As a basic mouse, this one fits the bill. There are no bells and whistles - left click, right click, scroll wheel...period. However, it really is virtually silent when clicking. It has a nice, soft touch. I took off one star because the batteries that were included did not last long at all. I'm still using my first replacement set, though, so am not sure if they were simply bargain batteries or if this will be a continuing issue. All in all, I'm pleased with the mouse.
Wonderful invention for me to be able to work in bed late at night. My husband who can sleep through zombie shows at full volume can't sleep through a little tap-tap on the computer keys or click-click of the mouse. But since I have purchased the mouses, I ca get away with finishing up research in bed after he falls asleep. The mouse is so quiet that I now have 3, for different computers in the house. I will give you a hint about getting the batteries to last longer. When you are finished with the mouse, remove the USB plug from the computer & store it back inside the mouse. If you leave it in, Inadvertent movement of the mouse will cause it to stay on when it is not really being used. This runs down the battery. If you think that's a hassle, don't fret too much. It soon becomes habit & you don't even think about it anymore. Great product! I love it.

For those of us who hate that constant clicking sound of a typical mouse, this quiet mouse works well. I bought this mouse in August 2015 and I'm still using it today with no problems. I use it for work and play, so it's seen 8-12 hours of use most days for the last 2 years. Since it's been 2 years, I decided it was time to buy a back-up. That's how much I like this quiet mouse. It's a standard mouse without side buttons, so I wouldn't consider this a gaming mouse. The mouse is smaller in size. I have an average-size hand and the mouse doesn't touch the bottom-half of my palm when using it. It's not completely silent, but the switches are very quiet. You can feel the 'click' when you press down. The description states a 90% reduction in noise, and that's a fair estimate. If you're looking for a quiet mouse, this is a good buy.
I got this mouse because my amazon basics mouse was too loud in clicking - work involves thousands of clicks per hour (or more!). I got the black and red mouse, looks very nice. I'll probably get a white and blue one too. The click is waaaayyyyy quieter. Middle clicking and right clicking are also very quiet. The plastic container was easy to open because of the flap at the back. The pack comes with a battery so you can use it right away. Be careful when inserting the battery not to have the laser pointing at your eyes. The usb stick was in the plastic container (not inside the mouse). I plugged the little stick into the Macbook Air and a dialog pops up saying a keyboard was not recognized- no worries, press the key as specified and the mouse works right away. So yes, this works perfectly on the Macbook Air just like the amazon basics mouse does. The sensitivity is slightly higher so I turned it down one notch in the system preferences- the laser seems brighter and holding the mouse up above the mousepad it was still reading it a little. The mouse itself is slightly lighter than the amazon basics mouse, making it slightly easier to move around. The red mouse has a rid stripe around it that glows slightly from the laser - when the laser is in use - nice touch. There’s a small sticker on the left mouse button that says you can wake the mouse up by clicking, luckily it came off very easily without any residue. The mouse wheel is actually a little more responsive than the amazon basics mouse too (I have two other amazon basics). There’s little ridges on the mouse wheel and it has square edges that just seem to feel better than the smooth round wheels which remind me of really old (gray) mouse wheels. When rolling the mouse wheel very fast you can slightly hear a hollow plastic noise which gives the mouse a cheap feeling - this is something they might consider improving on in Version 2 perhaps. I know I won’t be vigorously scrolling the middle wheel very fast like that very often so it is okay. While the mouse is slightly bigger than the amazon basics mouse it is slightly lighter so not that noticeable of a difference. There is a hole underneath the mouse for easy storage of the usb stick to make travel more convenient. After about an hours worth of use I am very satisfied with this purchase and enjoy using the mouse to get my work done - everyone else in the room is very happy with it too as they no longer have to hear countless loud clicking. UPDATE: Every time I use a different mouse I am now annoyed by how loud and clunky they sound, I just purchased another ShhhMouse for the other computer.
This was some of the best money I have ever spent. I bought it so that when I'm in a quiet meeting my computer navigation isn't audible all over the room. As advertised it is extremely quiet. It was plug-and-play for me on a Samsung ATIV converted to a laptop with a plug-in keyboard. I've never had a moment's trouble with the interface. I leave it plugged in always but I love that it has a little compartment for its USB plug so they don't become separated. It gets banged around in my laptop bag all day every day and still looks and performs like it's brand new. It ran for a whole year on a single battery. I wish everything I bought could be even half the excellent value that this mouse has been.
I was expecting something quiet, but not silent. You make a click and it doesn't even make a sound. It's actually a little mindnumbing at first because I just sat there wondering "does this even work?" But it most definitely works. The wheel makes a subtle sound when you scroll it, but part of that makes me think it's more the noise of the vibration between the wheel scrolling and the table you have it on. Either way, this thing is every bit as silent as the reviews say, and probably even then some.
It's also very functional. I haven't noticed any lag or blips in communication between the mouse and my PC. I prefer my mice just a little "heftier," but this isn't a tiny little flimsy mouse either. It's light, for sure, but it doesn't feel like fragile glass in your hands. The curve on the left is good enough to feel comfortable, but it isn't a particularly "deep" curve that completely snugs in your thumb.
Still, those are minor complaints. This mouse has been a fantastic purchase.
I am updating my original review of this product. The manufacturer responded to my review by not only emailing but calling me on the phone to ask if they could send me a new (free) ShhhMouse since the one I got clearly didn't work well. First, I'm astonished at the customer service. It's really unexpected and unparalleled. The new mouse they sent was a different model than the one I original purchased. It's sleeker and smaller and obviously quieter. Unlike my original purchase, this thing is really pretty silent which will do the job nicely since I got this to keep noise down as I often work in bed while my husband sleeps. Many thanks to the manufacturer for proving that this thing really is different and quiet as a mouse.
