I do not have a soldering iron so I used these to splice a new fan and remove a connector that was getting very hot between my power supply and motherboard on a 3D printer without having to run new wires. Super easy to use with a heat gun and they sealed right up. I recommend sliding the sleeve onto one of the snipped wires, hooking the bare wire ends on each and looping and pressing the ends together before sliding the sleeve over the connection. It won't pull apart easily and the solder sleeve will only reinforce that.
Used for various automotive projects, and re wiring a utility trailer. Worked excellent. No issues with wiring/electrical issues after using these. Very good product, in my opinion.
