We purchased this wireless security camera kit to replace our business existing system. Our old cameras had motion detection capabilities but would notify me anytime there was movement of any kind, which eventually became a nuisance.
After reading up on this kit, I noticed it had a PIR thermal sensor, which basically filters movement to that of heart signals, eliminating any false positives.
Well, having installed the cameras, I can certainly say it does that very well. Since then, I only get notifications that are actually helpful and don't have to worry about missing anything important.
Night Vision was also an important factor since we did have a break in not too long ago. However, I feel much safer with this system installed and will continue to use LaView's products from now.
Wireless Camera with Impressive Features
The Wire free security cameras come equipped with impressive features. Not only are the battery surveillance camera held up with a powerful magnet, but that also have a replaceable battery which proves that I can have the cameras mounted for a long time, but it also has a thermal PIR sensors that distinguish between objects and people. My previous security cameras would notify me whenever our tree was moved by the wind, so I’m glad this wi-fi camera only send me notification when its thermal sensors are triggered. Overall the 1080P clarity was just what I needed, I differentiate between individuals and I’m always aware of my home even when I’m gone.
I was looking to upgrade my existing security system with a wire free option due to the installation cost. Two years ago, I had to pay an installer to run wires through my home for my out dated surveillance system. This time I wanted to save on cost, so I bought the Wire Free LaView One Security System. Installation was so simple, all I had to do was screw in the mounting base and the surveillance cameras magnets held the security camera at the perfect angle. I would say that the only hassle is taking down the battery cameras to charge, but their long-lasting battery life postpones the hassle. I’ve the had battery Cameras for over a month and I still haven’t had the need to charge the security cameras. If you’re not interested in calling an installer, I seriously recommend this Wifi Camera system.
Wi-fi Camera With Two Way Audio
I have one Wifi Security camera placed over my front door and I have another placed over my garage. These two areas are the main entrances to my home. Having these surveillance cameras has made my family’s life a lot more convenient because we’re able to communicate with any delivery person, and we’re able to deter any unwanted guest with our battery operated WIFI Cameras. My husband has adjusted the security cameras to notify us whenever someone approaches them, so we instantly communicate via the two-way audio. The features are standard, but I just appreciate their performance, the battery life hasn’t disappointed and it’s nice to have a hub that directly stores all the recorded data.

Mounting the magnetic bases took about 20 minutes, mostly because I setup all cameras at once. Charging takes about 2 hours but Laview advertises months of operation on a single charge. So far, ive enjoyed these cameras and feel safer now that my home is secured with a great product.

I bought this product for my town house. Both my husband and I are not a big fan of drilling holes and wiring. After some research on existing battery camera products, we decided to get Laview one link to give it a try. The reason we get it is because that we need 1 camera for now, but may want to add more. The system can hold up to 6 cameras which is a good bonus to us. We made sure that we charge the camera for a day before connecting it. The setup is very simple. Almost like how I setup a PS4. We powered up the hub and connected to an ethernet cable. Then press the sync bottom. Make sure you have turned on the camera. Downloaded the app and scanned the QR code. The view popped on the app after a few secs. Then we installed in on the wall by the front door. So far we only use the live view function. But will try out other functions and update this review.
Easy installation. Weatherproof
I purchased this wireless outdoor camera system for my parents’ home. I am not always there to check on them, but this system has made that so much easier. Setup was a breeze. The bases are magnetic so there’s no drilling the cameras into place. This is due to them being battery powered, so I take it they need to be charged occasionally. Remote access is made possible by the LaView mobile app, which is effortless to setup. One most noteworthy feature of this system is its 2-audio capabilities. This has been so useful for me since I can just speak into the mobile app and my parents can engage right there and then. So far, I love this camera system, it has made my life a bit easier and I will continue to enjoy it.
Just got my new 1080p camera. I just moved into a new home and was looking for an affordable but reliable camera solution. The camera itself is not big, it fit comfortably in one hand so that should help speak on its size. The packaging itself is very nice and looks very promising. I am currently testing this by setting it in the nursing room. Setting up the mobile application was a breeze, it took me about 2 minutes overall, mostly waiting on the app to download on to my phone haha. I really like not having to create a new account to remotely view from different devices, I just used one account to sign into my phone and tablet. The wifi connection has been stable from the beginning, its surprising because I have other device like laptops and smart tv’s so its good that this was not bothered by those connections. I must say, for it being 1080p, it produces quite a nice image. The same goes for night time. While it does have IR capabilities, I did turn on room light and it instantly provided way more light as if it wasn’t even night time. Push notifications work like a charm. The size factor is also very pleasing as it doesn’t look like one of those big box cameras, it is rather small and can sit flush with other things in the room. This camera also does very well in dark situations, when the light is off, it still produces very good imaging. I am quite taken by the size, easy of setup and overall use. I will be ordering 2 more of these for some other rooms inside the house. I’m not real frequent on reviews but I honestly think that this camera deserved to be written about, it’s been simply a great addition to our home security and added peace of mind to my family.
I installed my LaView 1080P indoor wifi camera a few days ago. I bought it for the living room so that I can check on my two dogs when I am away. The installation is a breeze. I have tried some other wifi cameras before. But somehow, they weren’t able to connect to my router during the setup stage. But surprisingly I didn’t encounter any issue with this camera and the live view popped up right away after it is setup. I didn’t even refer to its simple user manual. All setup steps are in the APP. When I was following the steps, I thought it would take longer. Besides, the live view loads quickly when I am away from home. No matter I am using LTE or wifi, the remote view loads within seconds. I only use the APP on my phone. I setup motion detection in certain area of the living room so that I will get a notification on the phone when my dogs are playing around. Sometimes I talk to them and they will be attracted to the camera. Very cute lol. It is said to have face recognition, but I didn’t bother to set it up. The camera comes with SD which saves my trouble to buy another one for storage. Last time I bought a dash cam but it didn’t come with SD card. Took me some time to get the correct SD card for it. It is plastic and light and can be carried around easily. I use it for indoor. Night vision is alright, and I can still see the living room clearly when all lights are off. Overall for the money I paid, the camera performs higher than my expectation.
Good camera but the two-way audio can be better
I recently bought this 1080P wifi camera as baby monitor. Make sure to use APP LaView life. (there are a few LaView apps out there. Only LaView Life will work) The steps in the app are easy to follow. But you will need to wait a bit in some steps, like waiting for the camera to receive wifi information. I failed the first time then I tried again right away then the wifi is connected. The only compliant is that the two-way audio is not so good. Sometimes the echo is so loud that I can’t hear anything but noise. Generally speaking it is a good camera of its price.
