Decent bag that holds more like 6-8 discs. My only complaint is that the button on the flap should have more than one connect point. If you pack the bag full it snaps nicely and holds everything tightly.
If you have 4 discs in the bag the flap is loose and allows everything to slide around in the bag. It would be nice to be able to tighten up the flap if you don't have a full bag.

I am an amateur golfer who plays once a week during the fair weather months on a heavily wooded course. I wanted a bag the was minimalistic, but would keep discs secure. After a few months of using this bag, I have no regrets.
I use 7 discs in the main pocket and a putter in the front pocket. One could probably shove an eighth disc in the main, but 7 feels perfect. Likewise 6 is also nice when the 7th is in use. However going below 6 or 5 doesn't feel as comfortable since the bag sort of needs the structure of the disc stack to hold its shape well. I leave the flap open when playing, and i toss the bag on the ground next to me to throw. The discs stay put. If I'm particularly violent when dropping the bag or on uneven ground, one disc may pop halfway out, but it always manages to reseat itself when the bag is picked back up.
You could stand-still throw with this on your shoulder if desired, but i always put it down for anything other than a gimmie putt.
Some reviews mention the button snap is in a weird spot. I absolutely agree... The button should be lower. However I've never actually used the button, nor would i if it were in a better spot. I leave the flap open when playing, and flip it shut when done.
I find the cup holder a bit silly and would prefer a simple zippered side pouch instead for holding my keys. A cup of any reasonable size throws off the weight balance pretty good, which feels odd on your shoulder and makes it a chore to set the bag down without it falling over and the cup spilling or falling out. I found using a 20 oz travel mug particularly irritating with this bag. So I just dont use the cupholder.
First the good: Bag seems solidly made. Stitching is OK, fabric seems durable and attractive. The bag is nice and light-weight and is the perfect size for about 6 discs. You can use the front pocket for your phone/keys/snack etc. and still carry 6, or use the front pouch for 3-4 more.
The bad: The strap is fairly thin, and totally unpadded. This is an issue wearing a tank-top on course as the strap rubbed and left me pretty raw. The strap is stitched directly to the fabric, so you can't use carbiners or something to attach your own strap. Also, the button snap on the front of the bag is oddly placed (seems like it should be further down by where the logo is, the bag when closed is weirdly floppy and loose), but this is minor.
The verdict: Definitely a "would recommend" for anyone in the market for a minimalist bag. Seems like it will hold up very well and is great value at 22$. Hopefully in the future they will improve the strap or provide anchors to attach a custom strap.
Awesome minimalist adjustable shoulder bag for easy carrying and access to discs. Water bottle holder is a great feature, and it has a string with a cord lock to fit any bottle size. Material of bag feels thick and durable, while the inside lining is smooth. The outside secondary pocket has two snap buttons for secure fastening should you need to store any personal belongings. Overall a great product I would purchase again.
I haven't had it out on course yet, but it fits 10 discs easily. The outside material is a canvas but has a plastic inside layer so I'm guessing it'll be somewhat waterproof. The only thing I would change is to have a shoulder pad on the strap.
*Update* Well the owner of Kestrel saw my review and sent me the newer version of the bag that Amazon didnt send. And I have been told to keep both. I took the new bag out today and I love it. The padded shoulder strap is super comfy and this one has an added pocket on the back to hold more stuff. I took the pictures at a weird angle so one looks smaller but they are both the same size. Great product and excellent customer service. I highly recommend and will buy from them again when I need a new bag.

A decent bag with only one drawback and that is it does not sit up when you set it down, especially with a full water bottle. Your water bottle may get some dirt on the mouthpiece. Holds discs well and is otherwise a decent bag.
Yep perfect for 9 fits 2 putters in small front &easy out *small drink holder 20OZ OR LESS so much better than small rectangular bag imo well made I will see I have the nutsac bag which is better but u can't fit 2 putters in front U CAN THROW WITH IT ON NICE NICE I GOT THE BLACK ONE
Great bag. Simple design and logo not too flashy. Love the exterior pocket to hold other items.
Solid feel and put together with good materials; I can't imagine ever needing to get a new one.
I have been carrying this bag for a few months now & I have to say it is perfect! It holds 9 to 10 discs depending on their size. The mesh cup holder is perfect size for a cn or average water bottle. I typically use it to hold my sunglasses and cell phone. The front pocket is perfect for a couple of putters. I also use it to store my disc towel. I definitely recommend this for beginners or anyone that doesn't carry 15+ discs with them everytime. The bag makes carrying discs and accessories easy!
This is perfect for what nowadays is a "small" number of discs...6 to 8. Most others seem to prefer those gigantic suitcase size things that carry like 25 or so. Why?
Anyway, works great for me. Only thing I kinda wish it had is a more waterproof bottom as I am often setting it down on damp/wet areas. Size is perfect, has a holder for my sport drink, and is a good price.
