I’d been waiting to write my review until I’d used this vacuum long enough to have an experienced opinion. And, now that I’ve had it almost two months and have used it in all types of situations - I LOVE IT!
Pros: suction is strong, gets in the tightest if corners, the attachments are super easy to put on and take off, cleaning it is a breeze, and you can wash every part of it and reassemble in a snap, lasting, charging is a small stand and the vacuum sits right in.
Cons: NONE
I bought two other hand held vacuums before I found this gem. It has everything - a filter that I never have to throw away or change, a charging light (I couldn't believe that wasn't a feature on so many other hand held vacuums), it's got attachments, lightweight for my dainty hands - just great. And I should mention it's got the suction worthy of a lyric in a rap song.
I dinged a "half" star due to the fact that it's not the quietest; in fact mine has a bit of a high pitched tone to it that I'm not a fan of, but it is a small price to pay for the suction, cost, and everything else already listed.
Heavy duty vacuum, yet lightweight for older hands to move around. Great suction and easy clean up. Highly recommend.
Unless someone can answer my question on how to get the on/off switch to work with that raised button in front of it, I will have to return the unit. The button is not mentioned in the instructions.
Update: The distributor has informed me that the "button" made of black foam is to be removed before using the vacuum, not depressed as I had assumed. Without the black piece the on/off switch as well as the vacuum itself work fine. I have adjusted the rating accordingly. A note in the instructions on this detail will be added.
I previously bought Black and Decker 2 times, but didn't satisfy. But I am using it for 2 months now, and I like it. No battery issue, easy to clean, durable, and many more. So far I like it very much.

The filters seems a little stiff and hard to install but finally got it in. Otherwise so far have had no other problems.
I just got the vacuum and barely used it twice and suddenly it just kept turning off by itself and stopped working. I used it very lightly on my floors. I’m very disappointed that I’ve received a defective product.
EDIT: Great customer service, I didn’t even ask for a new vacuum and the seller sent a brand new one. I tested it out and it works very well! The suction is powerful and there are no problems with it.
I’ve used this a few times now. It’s a quick fix for the little messes my kiddos make in the car. I love that it has different attachments. It makes vacuuming the car seats easy.
Our other hand held vacuum was so loud that I hated it when my husband would get it out to use for cleaning up around our fireplace. It also seemed to be that whenever he used it for short clean ups, the battery would go dead. I found this one on line and liked what I heard. It has been a great vacuum and I will use it on the stairs and for so much more because it is powerful enough for more than little clean ups. I also appreciate the noise lever is considerably less. We are really happy with this one.
This thing rocks! Suction is amazing and holds a decent amount of debris for a handheld vacuum.
