Super bright!
I just received one and like it so much I'm ordering another now.
Bolted it up to my garage ceiling today, and I'm thrilled that it lights up the garage like it's daytime.
No more crawling around with a flashlight or drop cord under the car or under the hood.
Better than my old 500w (super hot, and not in any good way) halogen work light that blew the bulb, but it's not worth replacing the bulb.
This included the 3 prong cord, about 3 ft long, with a fairly heavy duty in-line toggle switch.
I hated my old hot running halogen light, was time to try one of these LED flood lights. There are so many out there. I didn't want to spend more than $40. This one had good reviews. It's a little bit bigger than my old 500w halogen, height wise. On my first usage, I was up in my attic in a tight area (not a place for the 500w HOT halogen) this light was a foot away and only got luke warm. Very good quality, well made not cheap feeling in any way. Dont look directly into one of these..it will take you a good 10 mins to recover..LOL haven't used it outdoors as of yet. I feel it lights a better area than the old 500W halogen. Now to find some kind of stand for this thing for working on my car.
This thing is bad ass, wide angle lighting, long distance lights up everything, super stoked. It's pick black out and raining in photos. Goes all the way to my gate which is about 150 ft away. Mounted it on side of my house about 7 feet off the ground. Ordering one more for other side of house just for fun, I'm an auto tech I appreciate good light its like 1,000 streamlights in one. Stays dry under my Eve so not sure about waterproofness yet, but it does get some water on it
I am using these lights for my Christmas decorations. I have two focused on my front doors and they are very effective. I previously used ordinary spot lights, but this flood light is 10 time more effective in light up my doors which are decorated with huge red bows.
I was a bit surprised to fine that these flood lights had no plugs. But I quickly ordered plugs from Amazon.com and wire them up and it all worked out well.
Our local electric company charges $35.00 and up per month to RENT a security light. REALLY? Wow is all i can say when we plugged this LED light in and used it to do some late evening work on my car. Does not get hot for a 500 watt light very cool to the touch. This is a very Bright Light and uses very little wattage. I recommend it to replace any bright lights you currently have that use high wattage.
What a great light for the price! I purchased this light to replace an incandescent light on my patio that was 15 years old and what a difference. The light I replaced was(2) 100 watt flood lights and now I have to put up with "It is too darn bright".I highly recommend this product if you want illumination. If want want low lighting not the best product and you may want to look at their lower wattage's.

Easy to install, but the bracket only allows movement in one direction. Not a big deal. But this lamp is very bright and lights up our back property very well. Similar lamps are notorious for not lasting long (not the LEDs, but the electronic drivers) so we'll see about longevity. Externally, it appears to be well built.
This has a 120v 3-prong cord on it with a switch. I cut that off and hardwired it into an electrical box.
Two things actually. One, obviously I haven't installed the lights yet buy I'm sure they will be more than adequate for my intended application. I'm very impressed with the reflector construction, but the size is amazing. I can't wait to get them up. Two, Amazon blew me away with how fast I got them. I ordered them before dinner and they had arrived before I put the cat out after dinner! Wow! Thanks!
