I love this lamp it was so awesome for less than 24hrs then the bottom fixture quit changing colors and quit dimming! As u can see from 1 of the pics it was working but in the other the bottom is just white! It literally will turn on WHITE and turn off WHITE That's it! I am returning and will b purchasing another because I live it so much but I am hoping the next one will last longer!
UPDATE:!! So evidently I am just stupid and somehow my kids pushed the right sequence of buttons and reset something that made it not change anymore, the company sent me reset instructions which I did and it was totally successful now my light is back working GREAT! So I take back my bad rating! Buy this lamp just be careful not to accidentally reset it. Lbvs
the lamp has essentially two modes, color and intensity varying mood mode and intense mono colored light mode. its east to configure and its works wonders when it comes to switching. when its mood mode, the light can be a bit dim but the colors can switch on the bottom and top which is phenomenal. the light stand has a fantastic detail as to put an option to raise it up or not l, and when you decide to not raise it up, the whole is covered with white rubber clog which i thought was an amazing detail. the remote is essential in light switch control since the physical button on the light can only function as on/off button. overall its amazing product
Whoever invented this floor lamp should have more money than Bill Gates! It is very beautiful, works extremely well, the colors are very calming and really adds a lot of mood to the room. If you are thinking about purchasing it do not hesitate as you will be very happy you did. It is very well made and it came very quickly. It's a little tricky to put together but we finally figured out if you put the middle pin to the top and stretch it from the bottom it will be a lot easier. Directions we're not real easy-to-follow but we were able to get it together and like I said, it is beautiful. I'm wondering where the lights can be purchased and how long they last. If anyone knows please advise as I would hate to be without the colorful lights in my living room ever again, LOL. The timer is nice touch as well because I have fallen asleep several times and didn't need to worry about the light going off.
The two lights have different colors and then glow through the textured fabric sides. It produces a very nice diffuse lighting effect that can be changed by mood (each light separately). The side is stretched tyvek, not the prettiest stuff around, but when backlight it actually looks nice still (there are threads in it to add some texture, which is good). It is not that bright. Don't expect to read by it.

It's a bit cheap but the colors are fun. The remote control is a bit confusing at first. If you want to switch from RGB color to the white/yellow lighting, you need to hold down on the RGB triangle button. The instructions are not very clear on that. It's cheap but gets the job done. We like the customizeable lighiting options.
The instructions weren't clear on the footing of the lamp...turned a 5 minute job into 10. But once put together, I love the lamp. I want another one for the other side but it's sold out unfortunately. Very colorful and more color patterns than I expected.
I'd like it better if there were a longer distance between the light itself and the on-switch as it's shortness of length makes it difficult to reach when in a corner. Yet a corner brings out it's best feature of AMBIANCE'!!!! Thanks!
The quality of these lamps is so great. Much better than the thin/brittle plastic that other similar products we 've owned are made with. The lighting is so beautiful. Will be buying a second one. The only thing to note is that the light bulbs this comes with are on the lower wattage side, so you might want to swap those out.
I put together the lamp myself, it didn't take long at all. I love all the colors, some aren't shown in the description!! I just play with the remote to see what new colors it will produce!! Im very happy with it!!
