This was a gift for our 7 year old who loves to fish and work on projects around the house. He puts it on after school and all day on weekends. He's used it to cut fishing line and wire. He used it as pliers for holding various small nuts. He switches out bits on the drill and dremel with these.
The cord keeps it with its shealth so it never gets misplaced. This feature he loves.

Works good. My wife's hands are too small to work a more traditional size. These let her do her work in comfort.
You're spending how much on a pair of Abel pliers? The cutters trim 6x tippet no problem and the size is perfect for my sling. I dipped one end of the handle in liquid rubber to improve the purchase of my large hands, but other than that these are great.
Smaller thsn i expected. Mine look different than advertised.
The very best fresh water pliers I have ever seen. They look great cuts line like my salt water mega buck pliers. I feel there is nothing in twice the price range that comes close.
