Edit Update: The company contacted me, and are sending me another unit. I didn't have to jump through hoops to get a replacement, and if anything it's rare to see a company go out of their way to make things right to begin with. For this reason, this earns a better rating. Thanks.

I'm not sure if I just received a faulty unit but so far it's yielded a lot of issues.
The good: It's super simple to use, just fill up the top tank, connect back to the bottom chamber, plug in and turn on. It blows a good amount of steam, it's quiet and so far the intense dryness in my nose has cleared up! Finally it's cheap, and includes a night light which isn't to bad.
The bad: The first problem I encountered involves the actual operation of the unit itself. When you fill the tank, and connect to the lower half, it pools the water at the bottom, and feeds from the top. When you turn it on initially after filling, the steam pours out without issue, however when I turned the unit off after a couple hours, I found that 75% of the time it will not be able to restart blowing steam, and 25% of the time it can. In order to resolve this problem when it won't work, I have to empty the lower half completely, and start over.
The next problem is that for whatever reason sometimes it will blow steam and use just about all the water if you allow it to, and other times it will get down to the bottom tank (white part) and simply just stop. I then have to get a sock to prop it to angle to get it to continue. Again there just does not seem to be any rhyme or reason why this happens. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
The next problem is where I found it leaking water into the sealed light! It even came out of the button at one point, although surprisingly I've only see this happen one time, no idea how the water got in there. I just don't use the night light as of now because I'm worried it will either shock me or blow the unit at some point.
Overall, I received a real work out cleaning up about 20 spills with this thing. I'm still gonna try use it to get some return on my money, but would not buy it again.
Can not delete review, so I would like to edit to add that Dianne has reached out and let me know that I received a defective unit. Is sending a replacement and seems more than happy to help with any issues I may have. Would recommend.
Does not humidify a room well. Steam all ends up directly around the base of the product. I soaked a hand towel cleaning up the moisture from this product after one night of use.
This humidifier has worked fine until now, but now when I plug it in, it just emits a high pitched sound with no steam output no matter how I adjust the knob on the side. The green power light is on, and the blue light indicates that it's properly put together and filled with enough water to work, so I honestly couldn't tell you what the problem is.
*Edit* The seller contacted me promptly and offered a replacement humidifier. So far the replacement works well, and I'm hoping it continues to do so.
Bought this for my bedroom, and it does a great job! I like that it is small and barely takes up much room. The settings are easy to use the steam starts up quickly. My only complaint is how easy the water gets spilled out of this. It doesn't seal to the base so if it gets badly bumped, it spills. Just have to keep it where it isn't in high traffic areas.
Since there is hardly any humidity where I live in California, I thought this would be a good solution for our bedroom. I have been turning it on every night since I received it and no longer wake up with dried, chapped lips, like I used to. I love the fact that it is quiet and it has a subtle night light, if you decide you want some light in the room. Would definitely recommend. The only downside, which isn't too bad, is that I have to stock up on a lot of distilled water, but I really am enjoying this humidifier.
Still going strong and am completely satisfied.

I love this humidifier. Many years ago, i had one that i bought from Walmart but they no longer carried the kind i like(or at least they didnt have it in stock each time i checked) so my next avenue was to try here on Amazon. I am very pleased with this purchase. It was easy to set up. I enjoy that it has built in night light, although i do not use it often only once since purchase. The adjusting button on side works great- letting you choose small stream out of humidifier to large amount, whatever your preference. It's very quiet and very soothing. This thing is great when you live in the Texas panhandle area- especially for those with allergies. My son and I have been battling that since early March and I swear this has helped greatly.
So far I am very happy with this humidifier. I had to throw my old one out (different brand) because the tank part got foggy and nasty after a few months of use. I wanted a new humidifier that would be easier to keep all the parts clean. The PurSteam humidifier has a large enough opening on the bottom that you can fit your hand inside and wipe the inside out. The opening I would guess to be about 4 inches long, so if you have larger hands it may not be as easy for you. The humidifier itself works wonderfully, we keep it right next to the bed on the lowest setting--the lowest setting still comes out pretty strong. It ran all night long and was still going when I left for work this morning.
UPDATE 4/30: Seller reached out and offered to send a replacement humidifier. Though I was disappointed with the original purchase, I couldn’t be happier with the customer service I received from the owner. I will update again in the future if I have further problems

Humidifier worked great the first couple months we used it. Once it became warmer outside we stopped using it regularly. Tried using it today, and the humidifier no longer works. It will make a low beep/hum sound but no steam is release. We purchased the product January 2018 and it’s only the end of April. I’m very disappointed with the quality of the product.
I have been needing a good humidifier due to the winter weather. also have children in the house so I did not want them getting burned. This is a great cool mist humidifier! As soon as I got it I set it right up and it works great. Even has a blue night light. Hold a lot of water (states 2 liters). It ran from the time I turned it on, all night, in the morning when I put more water in it and then turned it back on. Comes already assembled. Just need to add water. The water opening was a little tricky to put the cover back on when I first tried it but got it figured out. Definitely recommend. Daughter states she could already tell a difference. You can also regulate how fast or slow the mist comes out.
At first, it was great, worked well. Used the entire tank of water over about 12 hours on the highest settings. The directions were very basic. About 5 weeks after I received it, it started to leak when running. It's not just a small leak. A ton of water comes out of somewhere and the dresser it sits on, the carpet below and the side of the dresser are soaked. I didn't notice until I moved the humidifier, so the dresser has water damage. It looks nice, but ultimately the leaking makes it a huge problem and a complete waste.
Update -- I contacted the seller and they refunded my money and replaced the unit under warranty. I think it was probably a defective unit because so few people have problems, and I got very good customer service. I changed my rating from a 1 star to a 3 star and I will update it again after I test the new one.
Update 2 -- I received the new one from them very fast, and their customer service was excellent. The new one doesn't have the same problem and it works perfectly. I would recommend this to someone now, especially because I had very good customer service.
