I had a variety of selfie sticks and always had a need to record timelapses and wished the selfie stick could be repurposed.
Anker selfie stick & tripod is an excellent choice for two main reasons.
1. Build quality is excellent and couldn't get more value for the money
2. Highly portable, thus making it a must have for trips without adding bulk
One thing i wish Anker added to this package is a nice carry case.
PS: I have an iPhone 8 Plus on a Otterbox Symmetry case weighing together about 270 grams and this works so well both as a selfie stick and as a tripod.
This selfie stick is great. I bought it to go on my honeymoon and it did not disappoint. It connected with and held my XS perfectly and I didn’t have to charge it for the four days I was away. The tripod feature was awesome, it was really great to not have to ask strangers to hold my phone. Anker even followed up with me to make sure I loved it. As for those that say that it isn’t an actual Anker product, it is, and it’s on their website. A great, lightweight and compact selfie stick.
I bought this model along with the Yoozon so I could decide which one is better. This Anker model is EXACTLY the same as the Yoozon bluetooth model except it’s improved with the screw built in to attach a GoPro camera. I kept the Anker and am very happy with it.

I never thought I'd own a selfie stick until I realized how annoying it became to ask others for photos when we were traveling. So before a last minute trip to Hawaii I decided to bit the bullet and purchase one. It took me weeks of researching and trying to determine which selfie stick would perform best for our needs. I am so glad we purchased this one, as we ended up using much more than we ever thought we would. It worked great to take photos from a catamaran since I needed to keep one hand on the railing and the remote button allowed me to take photos with just one hand available. I also like that it is compatible with both phones and GoPro. It held on to the phone pretty nicely - I even had it sticking out the top of our Jeep to get some great photos on the Road to Hana, which worked out well and it stayed secure the entire time!

I really like the quality of these selfie stick this feels really good in your hands but I wish there was some kind of rope that would go around your hand wrist.
This selfie stick was able to be paired quickly with my pixel 3. After a few days of use it will be something I take with me on a regular basis.
It is a very easy to use product. Easy to fold and easy to connect with Bluetooth. We used it for a couple of days and we didn’t even need to charge it yet.
I bought this product for my parents, and it was easy enough for them to figure out how to use. Not only is it intuitive, it is also very sturdy and overall a great product.
