I used this outlet strip in Europe (Czech Rep, Germany and Italy). Worked great. You shouldn't think that you can use a conventional 120V outlet strip in Europe. I have tried that previously -- destroyed the 120V outlet strip and had to get the hotel engineer to reset a circuit breaker. I don't think that the hotel was especially pleased with me ... This strip is rated for 100 - 250 V so it just works. And the four USB charging ports are really handy.
This thing was awesome! I used this on a trip to Germany, Italy and Greece. Some outlets in Italy were like the ones in Germany, but some were not. It was great to have the different attachments! One of my favorite things about are the USB ports on the end, in fact, I like it so much that I have used it since I returned home too.
Took this unit overseas to GBR and Spain from the US. Worked great everywhere. The fit of conversion plugs is always a worry in general, but these converters were a perfect fit for the all the wall outlets I used. I love that I could power all my electronics (Laptop, Camera Battery, Phone, Wi-fi unit, recharger.) and have plenty of room for more... It is a bit heavier than I expected, but not so much that it bothered me since my electronics are heavier anyway. I'm bringing this thing everywhere!
So I have spent a ton of time traveling in Japan and China, but find my work getting me to Britain and the Commonwealth with greater frequency. The hotels are wonderful, the service is great, and the plugs in the room rather fewer than what we are used to in a typical Courtyard or Staybridge in North America. You've got one plug, maybe two, and a bag full of devices to keep electrified. The Tessan powerstrip is heaven-sent.
This fellow handles the 220 voltage, has a great surge protection fuse built in, and will address the geekiest of needs. I carry two laptops, two tablets, a phone, and two battery chargers, plus my a pair of chargeable headphones. With this device, I am fully covered, capable of charging all seven devices at once, and plugging in wherever I need.
I travel abroad 7-8 times a year, and even when I have to be careful about how much I pack (like when I'm traveling by rail in the UK or China), I am taking my Tessan 3 with me. Why worry about outlets anymore? This solves my problems.
I bought this for traveling to England and it was perfect. I only took up one plug at the home where I stayed and I was able to charge my phone, Kindle, Fitbit and computer. Since it was an older home that doesn't have many plugs, using only 1 plug was good. On my last visit I didn't have this and I had to keep switching devices and plugs constantly. The unit is not too big and not heavy. The adapters are smaller than ones I'd purchased on my last trip to Europe when I didn't have the power strip. I prefer the smaller adapters. My daughter, whose house it was, asked that I leave the power strip for them because she has several gadgets with US style plugs and liked this unit better than what she had. So, I guess I'll be buying this again for my next trip.

What a lifesaver. When you're staying in hotels, one thing you'll often find is they tend to have a crazy lack of outlets. It's even worse when you're on a trip and staying with multiple people in the same room. This allowed myself AND my two roommates to have plenty of power out of just one outlet. We were all able to keep our laptops, phones, and other devices charged. I was a little hesitant on spending $30 on a power strip, but it was definitely worth it. One of my roommates is even going to buy one for herself!
When you travel overseas, this is the kit you need. With the included adapters, you can plug in anywhere. The Big Bonus is that because this is also a surge protector, you are protecting your investment in your electronics. In a recent overseas trip to two different countries, my wife and my daughter and I simultaneously plugged in about $2500 worth of electronics for recharging--getting one of these Tessans is a no-brainer.
We used this in Italy and Greece. The three prong adapter worked perfectly in Italy and the two prong adapter also worked perfectly in Greece. My husband and I used it to connect our laptops while working overseas and in addition, the extra usb connections allowed us to also charge our phones. This is not a converter, it's an adapter and power strip and for as long as you connect laptops or phones it will power safely your devices. I do not know how it would work for any other appliances but computer equipment is made to handle both 110/120v and 220v so it was perfect for us. We used it non-stop for almost 3 months. We plan to take it with us wherever we go. One additional benefit. While waiting for the plane in Italy to go to Greece, only one plug was available. we plugged this in and three fellow travelers got to charge their phones also. If I hadn't purchased this before me and my girlfriend left for Ireland our trip would have been an irritating disaster. Well or at the very least we would have had to purchase something similar to this that only worked over in Ireland for their outlets over there. If you plan on doing a lot of traveling internationally this is a fantastic item to have and I would highly recommended it.
I purchased this travel adapter for my recent trip to Kenya. It comes with 5 adapters for the various types of plugs one finds outside the US. The strip has a regular US style 3 prong adapter so it can be used in the States as a power strip. One feature that led me to buy this strip is the four USB outlets on the end. With phones, headsets, and camera battery chargers we needed all these plugs. Once you plug the power strip into the power adapter for your location you have four ac outlets at 110V and four USB outlets at 5 volts. Very hand accessory for my travels and at home.
