I wanted to put low-light night lights in two windowless bathrooms so we wouldn't have to turn the lights when getting up at night to use the bathroom. There was no place to put plug-ins and motion detecting lights would be impractical in the daytime. These thin, battery-powered, dimmable night lights work beautifully for the purpose. I'm using the third light as an emergency light source for a walk-in closet where the lighting fixture has to be adjusted every 6 months or so. Assuming that the batteries hold out if not used for 6 months, these lights should work well for that, too.
My only complaint is the assembly instructions: there are none, and the diagrams on the outside of the box don't really tell you how to remove the back cover to install the 3 AAA batteries. I had to go back to the reviews and the product page to figure out how, and even then it wasn't simple or easy. (I finally turned the job over to my husband, who did eventually get them open but almost gave up, too.) Tip: the back (battery) cover locks onto the front part with 3 latches (you can see the 3 slots on the back). So twisting the back slightly to the right unlatches the cover. Once you get it off (you will, eventually) and have the batteries installed, *don't* twist it all the way to lock it in tightly, which isn't necessary: it will stay up fine once you've mounted it with a magnet or the supplied 3M double-sided tape patch, while leaving it only half-way latched will make it easier to just twist and lift off the front when you need to change the batteries.
These lights are exactly what I was looking for. Lighting up a dark storage area of my RV. First light worked fine with good illumination when batteries were added. Only problem was the light wouldn't turn off when switched. Haven't tried the other two. Afraid to burn more batteries.
Update:
I was contacted by the seller. They seemed concerned with my problem, and they have offered to send a replacement. Great response time, as well as outstanding customer service. We'll see if the replacement works better. In the mean time I've changed my rating from two to five stars.

Received a new light set as per the original order. These ones work fine. Again, 5 stars for great follow up and customer service!
We recently lost power at my home and comforting two little children, in the dark, makes for a challenging circumstance. These little lights make things a whole lot more manageable. They really put out some brightness! My photo example is one light in my kitchen.
Really good quality lights! We love the magnet so we can use it on the fridge. We're in Puerto Rico and more than two months after hurricane Maria wiped out the electrical grid we're still without electricity as is half of the island.
The dimmer is a great feature. When waking up in the middle of the night you don't need the full power.

These really work great! I like the dimmable feature (and that they turn on to the same setting they are left). They come with 3M sticky magnets so you can stick them anywhere and remove them and then put them back up in the same spot without needing a new sticky surface (great for in our camper). Too bad my 3-year-old quickly figured out how fun it is to make them bright... but that's no fault of the design. My only wish is that they had a switch to manually turn them off. When you turn them off and stack them on top of each other, the weight (or heat?) of the next one turns the bottom one on... so you can't stack them and bring them all if they have batteries in and were used recently. (I think when they're fully cold you can.)
These lights are just what I was looking for. We just replaced our microwave over the stove with a stainless steel shelf that now holds a large toaster oven. So we no longer have the light over the stove that was built in to the bottom of the microwave. Since these lights are magnetic, they work perfectly on bottom of the new shelf. And we can even move them around as needed. We used 2 and keep them on brightest setting which is perfect for our needs. just lightly hit to turn on and off. Highly recommend.
I bought these for my daughter's laundry area. She has a stackable washer and dryer situated at the end of a dark hall. There is no light there at all and you could never see in the washer. She said she loves these lights. They are quite bright and she can see what she is doing for the first time since moving there! She likes how easy it is to adjust the dimness or brightness and that when you turn them back on, they return to where you last had them set. She also likes having the option of placing them with the magnet or hanging them on the wall. She has done both. The magnetized ones are especially easy to move around if you need to see a particular thing better. She is very happy with these.
I use this to light my nightstand drawer so I can grab medications, etc in dark conditions. Once I was able to get it to the dimmer mode, it works like a charm. The touch technology is easy and reliable. The dim setting is just enough light to for me to locate the items I need with being too bright. Still not sure how to switch between these brightness modes. I had notions of using this to light a closet without electricity. However one puck, even on the brighter setting, wasn’t enough light to cut it. I’d need to use multiple pucks and I can’t readily do this because the closet walls are old plaster, not conducive to adhering the double sided tape which secures the pucks. Plus, I’m just not in to tapping multiple lights each time I visit the closet.
I’ve been happy with the battery life. I’ve accidentally left one of these on (8+ hours) a couple of times and I haven’t noticed a decline in brightness.
This concept is a nifty idea. Pucks adhere just fine in most locations, I just have a very old house. I like this for little spaces but would look for a larger option to light an entire closet.
Drains battery even when off. 1/3 are defective. Took a while to notice and confirm it. Had to let it sit for 2-3 weeks to drain each time, and by then my Amazon return window closed and I had wasted 3 sets of batteries.
EDIT 9/18: Company contact reached out to me. Was refunded the whole cost of the items. Given that I still have two functioning, the refund more than covered the cost of the wasted batteries. I'm glad they reached out to me - excellent customer service.
Buyer should be aware though. Randomly dead batteries may indicate a faulty product
