(Note: This specific review is for the 300W, 338 LED panels. I purchased one of each in "Sunlike Full Spectrum" and "16 Band Full Spectrum" for a fun experiment.)
(Additional Note: I don't claim to be garden-savvy, but I had fun with this.)
Experiment Goal: See which panel produces happier herbs. (In 2 week span.)
Supplies:
- Home-made grow tent. (PVC pipe cut to make huge rectangle box and mylar emergency blankets - the thicker kind.)
- Heating mats
- Seeds
- Relassy LED panels
Observations:
I noticed right away that the Sunlike herbs got a little leggy, and so I ended up lowering that panel closer to the herbs. Both panels were originally about 8" away from the plants. This seemed to calm them down, so I kept it this way for the duration of my experiment. (I realize this sort of defeats the purpose but I'm not cruel...)
The 16 Band herbs seemed to sprout just enough to lift their cotyledons out of the dirt and started leaf-making. I didn't have to adjust that panel's height whatsoever, they just did their thing and seemed happy.
It didn't take long for me to jump on the 16 Band-wagon.
If you scroll through the photos, you'll notice that late-to-sprout Sunlike Rosemary started to stretch towards the panel, even after I had lowered it earlier in response to leggy Cilantro.
Lemon Balm (with zoomed corner to show detail) sprouted just fine under the 16 Band but only one teeny sprout popped up under the Sunlike panel.
Sunlike Parsley looks fairly happy I'd say, but 16 Band Parsley looks like a wild bush of craziness in comparison.
And Basil just went "honey badger" - it's the only herb that didn't seem to care either way about the difference.
I also noticed that Chives (unpictured) performed better under the 16 Band, with Sunlike Chives coming through only minimally.
Overall Impression:
Although this "experiment" might not be the most scientific or the most controlled, I would have to go with the 16 Band LED panels for my future growing requirements. As such, I have ordered 3 more so I can fully utilize each compartment of the grow tent.
The Sunlike panel is still great - and although I will be re-purposing it for use as a "Happy Light" (Vitamin D is life) or a project/craft light - that still shouldn't take away from its value as a grow panel.
Let's just say that for my future needs, I -will- be coming back to Relassy.
(Also: Both panels arrived in mint packaging w/no scratches, scuffs, or punctures. Both panels worked flawlessly right out of the box.)
So I purchased this arrived next day can't fault delivery.

I have never seen such a lamp. Amazing! Excellent build quality. It looks like putting two other panel lights together, BUT its brightness is absolutely over 2 grow light panels. Also, it has 338LEDs, it’s more than other 300W plant lamps.
First impressions AUTO ON/OFF TIMER
I especially love the timer on this unit. It can be set for 4,8, and 12 hours. Once they are turned on and set for the length of time needed on your plants, it turns on every day at that time.

Precautions
The LEDs installed in this fitting are good quality and very intense even just this one light in my grow tent can strain my eyes so sunglasses may be advised especially of using veg and bloom at the same time, also make sure you read the instructions as putting this light too close can cause adverse effects especially on developing seedlings.

In June of 2018, we bought the Relassy 450w LED grow light for our herb garden flat, which was located in an area without a lot of sun. We have been benefiting ever since, including herbs in the winter. The light has performed stunningly, being out in the wettest weather here in history. Given this experience, it was a no-brainer for us to get the new Relassy 300w LED grow light for our garden shed. This light is an indoor only, but it is perfect for our use. Right now it is bathing our geraniums in sun equivalent light. Since the shed is some ways from the house. the timer that comes with this light is a step saver, especially in inclement weather. The light comes on at 9 am and goes off at 5 pm. with no other attention from us, except to go out to water every three days. In the early spring, we will use the light to grow our seed flats. It is a terrific improvement over the florescent fixture we previously used. I can't recommend enough, both this light, the 300 watt light with timer, as well as the 450 watt indoor/outdoor fixture. They are great.
The built-in timer makes this light convenient to use in our workshop, where we put plants that can't survive outside during the winter. Very easy to install and works well. It's plenty of light for at least 8 potted plants.

LED GROW LIGHT FOR INDOOR PLANT 300W
I have been using this light for over a month now and I am already seeing significant results from my plants.
This full spectrum light is very bright and super efficient for its size and power. It has a thin profile and runs cool to the touch.
I use the available 12 hour timer for my plants and it works perfectly allowing for maximum light exposure for maximum growth.
This light is very light for its size and it comes with its own mounting hanger which allows it to be hung at any angle.
I keep my light at about 18" above the canopy which gives me enough area for two very large plants with room to grow.
This light has exceeded all my expectations, so much so I bought four more of them to increase the amount of plants I can grow. I highly recommend this light for any and all indoor plants. Happy Growing!!?
When the light first arrived & I plugged it in, I was a bit skeptical because it let off a very reddish-blue hue of light, but I set it up and planted some seeds into small containers to see what would happen. I am very happy to report that the light does exactly what it is supposed to do. These are pictures of my new seedlings after two weeks! I like this light very much-- it's light-weight & very quiet, since its design doesn't need any fans. Highly recommended.
These are awesome lights for my plants. I haven’t used it for very long but so far I’m impressed with this light. Incredible. next gen led grow light fold able and NO cooling system . I think it’s inportant to note that you can ONLY use the timers built in to the light. You can’t buy an external timer to use with this light. The light won’t just stay on it is 4 8 or 12 only.
The seller did send a nice email and is considering my suggestion to make it so the light just stays on so that we can use external timers. The light is nice and bright and works well.
