This brand is cheaper than the selection they have at the local HD for this cord length and gauge. It has a nice feel to the plasitic and plug ends so the value is great. I use mine in the garage with a heavy duty outlet expander to power workshop tool and a shop vac. Many times exceeds 15A at a time for brief periods with more than one device running at a time but so far I haven't noticed any significant heat coming off the cord or the plugs. I've used similar setups with power strips with lower gauge wires and they were always warm to the touch after I ran my tools for short periods of time. I got this on a lightning deal so the value was even greater! So fa I like this brand, I started using their air compressor hoses and was satisfied with them also which were also a great value.
