The microphone quality is the best I have used on a webcam as well. It's certainly not going to beat out something like a Samson Meteor or Blue Yeti or anything, but it is definitely worth.
What surprise me most that picture quality is much better than laptop's camera, now I use it in my current stream set-up and recommend it to anyone trying to start streaming or looking to improve their streams and content.

A good webcam that records a high quality image. This camera works great for my setup at home and is a useful tool. It does however have a more “beauty” look. My rough face looked rather smooth. But hey, maybe that’s what you want. Aesthetically this camera looks great on a monitor, but in a smooth steel look. The clamp looks flimsy, but has surprisingly held up even with my uplift desk moving the chord a bunch.

I’ve had this camera now for a few months and tested in various different locations and under very different circumstances. Across the board, this camera is probably the most durable and versatile webcam I’ve ever owned. The picture quality beats logitech hands down (for the price point) and the lens has not scratched or pixelated in heavy duty cross country travel (I wish I could say the same for my all too delicate C922 Logitech investment). The one pain point continues to be its lack of tilting up and down on a vertical axis which does make some positioning on hotel room TVs or other unconventional locations a bit or a pain
[Update 03/02/19] The seller contacted me about my concern and committed to resolve the issue. Customer service was great and made a big difference. While the overall picture color is not optimal for me admit is a "warmer" tone than I prefer, the clarity and for us are very good. It is also very easy from a p li ug and p li at standpoint. The seller also committed to test the ChromaCam issue and take fix to resolve. I would definitely deal with this Seller again.
[Original review Feb 2019] This is my second camera as the first one had good picture quality; but a general yellowish hue rather than pure life like colors; Thought I had a bad camera, but replacement has same issue. Must be in the design. Camera is simply connected to a Surface Pro. Also, followed directions and downloaded ChromaCam to use background replacement (without the need for a green screen). Followed all directions but when use ChromaCam the video becomes super-overexposed (comic book like) and not usable. When reverting to just regular camera use overexposure remains until I fully disconnect camera and reconnect. Yellowish hue returns however. Unfortunately for whatever reason, I am not having the same experience as others users. Could be a computer setting issue, but internal Surface Pro Camera works fine, so not sure what it could be. Couldn't find any setting to adjust that would impact picture quality.
