We bought a couple of these and a few similar ones by the same manufacturer. I think the main difference was the cable length. Other than that they are the same.
They throw a lot of light, this is an all metal lamp, nice metal heat sinks, good cables and good strain relief. As we just installed them I can’t speak to durability yet. It has an external switch, and we control our lights from a central switch, so we turn on the included switch. That actually allows us to control it from our central switch. The price is excellent. I always try to look at how much actual light you get per dollar, not how many lumens the manufacturer says it has. Some manufacturers are not very truthful.these guys here are. You get the amount of light they claim. I am very happy with it. Good product, I will definitely buy more.
I've added three stars.. now 3 stars, because the seller did (finally) follow up, and sent the missing parts from China. I explained that to the seller that there were no threads in the bushing in the bracket to which the stand is to be bolted or in the yoke on the light itself. Seller commented that it was the only report of this they had received and would act on the report.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I love the output, and the design, but plan on buying a bolt, washers, and nut to attach the stand to the light itself. There are three parts to this item: light, stand, knobbed bolt. (I originally thought a wingnut was missing, but the bolt is supposed to engage threads in the bushing on the stand. Emailed the manufacturer, with eventual response after I fixed the problem. How do you grade this fact pattern? 5 stars for design and output, minus 2 stars for poor QC. BUT.... buyer takes action... under $2 for bolt, washers, and nut and the Glorious-lite is secured on its stand.
Nice compact and powerful lamp. I appreciate the light output per wattage, they use too much power and get incredibly hot. This light gives you plenty of light for less power than a standard light bulb. Also appreciate the weather resistant enclosure in case I need to use this outside.
Bright light output, long cord with switch, and reasonably light weight (about the same as prior halogen work lights I have had). Lower power consumption than halogen and cooler operation will be nice. The one miss is that to adjust the light angle you have to use an allen (hex) key to loosen and tighten a bolt on each side of the holder to maintain the desired angle. A simple thumb screw or wing nut would have had more than adequate holding power and would not require tools for adjustment.
For 11 years I’ve dealt with my salon being shadowed in the evenings. My salon is a metal building sunroom and lacks good overhead lighting. Trying to cut hair or determine correct color in a dim room is horrible. Finally it occurred to me that a flood light might fit on the top of my towel cabinet. Warm Tips
1. The light has no motion sensor / no timer / no dawn to dusk function.

The product is good. The tilt screws could’ve been simpler. They use Allen wrenches. Not everybody has them.
I like this product and would buy it again. It's a good value. Oddly enough, it doesn't quite "turn off." As the pictures show, it glows after it is turned off. When I noticed this, the light had been switched off at least two hours. In order to avoid this you must unplug it. You can tell that the light is not actually on from the pitch black background. This might actually add value to this item. Strange.
I bought this light full well knowing that it would not adjust downward. However, I was replacing a previous unit that had a full vertical stand and was able use that stand and its parts to integrate the new light (without the mount) into a fully adjustable upwards and downwards) unit.
The light is very bright. The base is stable and one is able to rotate the light vertically and horizontally. The glass lens gets just slightly warm after use. I made a hook for the top handle so I could hang the light. I am currently using it inside a car I am restoring, so a small maneuverable light is a must.
Bright, lite weight, compact, and so far seems to be very durable. I've been using it for about three weeks and dropped it several times and the light is still working great. I didn't think I would like the long cord but it has turned out to be real handy. I would rather have the switch on the light instead of the cord but not really a big deal and the hex headed screws used to adjust the angle should be replaced with wingnuts. I would buy this light again.
