It's not bad so far. Used it with my S7.
Build quality is fairly okay, with caveats.
Wasn't too hard to set-up -- hold home for 6+ seconds, pair it.
The sticks are fairly decent, although they seem to bias input toward cardinal directions from a quick test with it plugged into my PC. The clip works pretty well, and it even works without me removing my case (but if your case is particularly thick, it probably won't fit). It looks nice and the main black portion of the body is matte, keeping the fingerprints away. It's light without feeling obnoxiously cheap.
Works in all the controller-based Android stuff I've tried, and it's perfect for the Gear VR.
There's a handful of issues. The d-pad is absolute utter garbage and tends to think left is up and other nonsense like that since it's so loose and shoddy, so ignore it as much as you can. The blue plastic part of the clip, the bit you stretch out, feels a lot flimsier than the rest of the device by far. The buttons feel a bit too spongy, like they're going to wear out quickly (especially l2/r2). Start and Select are placed really, really poorly and it's easy to accidentally brush the right stick when hitting them. The middle bit seems a tad loose when closed, although that may be to facilitate plugging a charger in while having the clip down.
The L2/R2 buttons are a bit awkwardly placed, but it's not a crippling issue, it's just a bit weird.
Mouse mode would be neat if there was a way to speed up cursor movement, and it doesn't seem to be recognized on PC as a mouse (but that doesn't really matter, and you can use joy2key for that)
Overall, it's a fairly decent controller, just don't expect to be able to do K9999's db,hcb,df super (or really play fighting games at all) with the d-pad, haha. Out of all the issues, the d-pad is the worst of them by far.
Pros
1.) It’s cheap; Great if you have a bad habit of breaking things and also great for recommending it to your cheapo friends who you want to play pokemon with.
2.) Excellent battery life; I swear this thing just keeps going and going in terms of battery life. Not to mention it charges quickly and come with a nicely long cord.
3.) Comes with a holder bag; It may not seem like a big deal at first, but it’s amazing how fast you can lose or forget cords when the don’t have a carrying bag.
4.) The analog sticks are nice, the buttons are firm but the D-Pad… We’ll get to that in the cons section.
5.) Super compatible with android; It’s been able to play any game I have, as well as being very useful for VR and youtube.
Cons
1.) The D-Pad is garbage; I bought this controller to primarily play pokemon. The thumb sticks don't work well with pokemon. If you're going to try and ride the mach bike in pokemon emerald with this D-Pad then GOOD LUCK! Redesign the D-Pad and add some sort of cross section so it has a better snapping action.
2.) The plastic feels like a Mcdonald toy; I haven't had any problems with durability it just feels cheap is all. The molds are nice, if you make a better controller use a higher grade plastic, or just over mold it to make it feel more pleasing.
3.) The holder doesn't really like to stay up if you're laying on your back; If you own something like a Powerbear phone case then expect problems with keeping the clip up if you're not vertical to the ground. I’d recommend you add a lock pin to keep it in place
4.) Uncomfortable; It takes some getting use to and for long play times it can strain your hands. When you don't want your phone in the controller clip I recommend buying a phone stand for longer play sessions. You could also build a stand out of legos if you have some laying around.
Overall I like the controller, well worth the price of admission. However there are some thing that could definitely use improvement like the D-Pad.
Man I wish I could give this thing five stars because I absolutely love it. I use it with my Google Pixel XL 128 GB, primarily through emulators. The true test for me was how it would hold up using an N64 emulator, and you know what? It worked just about perfectly.
So why four stars and not five? One small issue and one larger issue.
Small issue: The set up was not intuitive and kind of a pain. I mean I got it figured out after a quick google search, so not really a big deal.
The bigger issue is that if you have volume buttons on the side of your phone, the way this device clamps onto a phone presses down the buttons so you have to be real careful and move the phone around until it isn't constantly pressing down the buttons. The obvious solution for this would be to change it to a horizontal clamp (like how the nintendo switch will look) when they make a new model.
Overall this was a great use of >$20, and have recommended it to all my friends and the few that have bought it also have nothing but good things to say about it.
I use it on my daily commute, to play android games on my phone. Connects quickly via bluetooth, no noticeable input lag. Its not the most comfortable controller I own, but is really easy to use and pack away in my bag, so its a nice compromise. The battery lasts me about a week of commutes, so it is perfect for me.
This thing is fantastic. Battery life is great, it feels like a AAA controller, and it even has clickable joysticks which is above and beyond expectations for a mobile controller. It has all the buttons and functionality of a full sized console controller and pairs to my OnePlus Two with no problem. Highly recommended.

My Review is for BEBONCOOL's Wireless Bluetooth Android Game Controller. First off it is very easy to setup on your Android device. It fits my Samsung Galaxy S8+ W/ a UAG Case. Works flawless throughout my phone. Can move around on my homescreen in Game Mode of the controller and access my Game Launcher to play many emulators. This device doesn't just support the games in the BEBONCOOL Companion App.Directly after connecting to bluetooth I was able to launch an emulator and the controller instantly worked. I couldn't be more happy with the product. Also comes with a nice little cinch bag for the controller and Micro USB charging cord. This is a must buy if you enjoy playing classic or even new mobile game releases on your smartphone.
UPDATE: It's a little finicky with the PC. Connected just fine, but trying to play Dragon's Dogma, not of the inputs are "input 3", and no way of unmapping that input out to keep playing. A minor flaw in an almost flawless controller!
Pros:
+ Great controller for the price! It holds my phone well while being a good size for portability... all for <$20 USD
+ Long battery life, (went 3 days of heavy 4+ hour use without charging and its still going strong)
+ Connected easily to phone, no bluetooth problems, even on packed subway with other phone users
+ Works on all the games I've been playing on, (mainly emulators)
+ Fits my Galaxy S 8+ with its case on
+ responsive controls
+ lovely silver bag to carry it around in, (alleviates 1 of my 2 cons)
My only gripes are: it the dpad is really squishy, and the control sticks out a bit much for portable travel
- Dpad needs better tactile feedback on so you know which direction you are pressing it on
- great for cargo shorts, but doesn't stick into jeans well without carrying pouch, (a nice silver one that dramatically alleviates this issue)
- Some PC titles read Inputs that are not on the controller.
So with the first con being very minor, and the free bag helping the second... I would definately buy from again, especially if they had a slightly bigger controller with built in power supply, (think the MOBO ones going around, but made by these guys). I will be doing some testing to see how it works on PC as a bonus, but for what it does, it does with ease!
Its a very Good controller for my s7 edge . Its not bulky has two joy sticks works very well for the occasional gamer good for Gear Vr too.
This isn’t a bad choice for a small bluetooth controller and works well with my LG Fiesta smart phone. It doesn’t take long to charge, is small but still fits in my hand nicely and I like how the phone bracket folds down into the controller. It also comes with a nice little carrying bag. The L2/R2 buttons are positioned in an odd place on the underside of the controller though. However, this helps it keep its low profile as apposed to a ‘normal’ controller.
I don’t mind the different position and angle for the L2/R2 buttons but the L1/R1 buttons are still at a standard position and angle. This does make it feel a bit awkward. That’s the only reason I gave the 4 star rating. It would be awesome to see a version with the L1/R1 buttons placed at a similar angle to the L2/R2 buttons. When using L2/R2 in World of Tanks Blitz my grip feels best with my index fingers placed on the plastic ridge just below L1/R1. Which is actually alright because I don’t use the L1/R1 buttons when playing that game anyway.
I had another controller from this brand which my three year old disassembled. I liked the brand, but I couldn't find another of the previous model so I ordered this one. I don't think it's as ergonomically comfortable as the last one. I have spindly fingers so this one is a little small. The phone clip is also rather tight because I have a durable case on my Samsung Galaxy S7. It's incredibly light and feels fragile, but it's behaving like it's more durable.
That being said, I'm definitely liking the functionality of this controller more than my last one. This one has a 3 way toggle switch to change how it works with your device. It has a game mode. My last controller didn't work with most of the Sega Classics like Streets Of Rage or Gunstar Heroes. In game mode, this one does. I'm very pleased with the functionality. It's not uncomfortable to the point of being a deal breaker so the improvements in how it works are more than enough.
