I have needed this for a long time. We have just mostly put batteries in a "junk" drawer. This organizer helps you see at a glance what kind you have and how many.

Observations:
- I wasn't impressed with the tester. It is very cheap and doesn't show "good" vs "bad". It shows voltage. There is a table on the back that translates the voltage to degrees of "good" but it is embossed, and black like the rest of the unit so very hard to read. It is also difficult to get a reading on some batteries. You have to hold it just right and squeeze the battery holder for some, but not all.

- It also does not have a space for the newer 3V photo batteries. You can test them but there is not a correctly sized holder for them.

- The photo shows storing button batteries. But that is just a general square area with no accomodation for size. If you do store button batteries there, you cannot hang it on the wall. And the button batteries have to be stacked. It seems unwise to stack metallic batteries.

The holder itself is sturdy and works as expected.

Initially, I'd purchased https://amzn.to/2JQ1VqL but it has a fatal flaw when it comes to my plans. It doesn't fit the C battery converters I purchased.
See, I'm on a rechargeables splash, where I'm trying to use rechargeables for most, if not all of my electronics. So I decided to get a large charger and a bunch of batteries. I already had a few because there are some devices you just really need to use rechargeables in, like remotes, game-pads, keyboards, mice, etc. But this plan meant changing out almost all of my electronics' alkalines and lithiums. The last case failed me but I liked it so I kept it. I got this case and it's been my salvation.

This case fit everything I put into it, including those pesky AA to C converter cases. It fits the AA to D converters fine as well so now I've put all my rechargies into this one and non-rechargeables into the https://amzn.to/2JQ1VqL. My family can use stuff from the other box, the contents of this one are strictly used my me; I don't want my family throwing away my expensive rechargeables.

The case feels solid, well built and as I mentioned, if you have any type of converter case for your batteries, you're safer with this than the other. This organizer has no cover however, which for me isn't a deal killer but for some, may be. I initially wanted a cover on it, but now I don't know why because the point of having it is to be able to snatch batteries out and put them back in quickly and I won't be mounting it (at least not planning to). I may mount the other one so it's more visible to family and they won't go after this one, we'll see. All in all, I like both cases a lot but this one is way more functional for/to me. This cases holds a few more batteries and I like the ordering more. The only downside for me is the 8 9v slots because I only have 4 things that use a 9V and I won't be using rechargeable 9Vs anyway (or .... maybe I will?) The space would have better been utilized as more AA or AAA slots for me. In the end, I vouch for this Abunro case.

As usual, will update if anything chips or breaks or bends magically.

I got tired of my box of mixed up batteries and purchased this Organizer. I would have preferred even more capacity, especially of the AAA batteries. The reason I did not rate it with 5 Stars is my concern that storing the 9V batteries with the contacts up could lead to shorting if something metallic were to fall on them. For this reason, I chose to store mine with the contacts down. I didn't really need the battery tester but most of the larger units came with one. This one is more accurate because of the digital display but I had a bit of a challenge capturing the round batteries without occasionally dropping them. A deeper V slot and spring grip could improve this design. I am happy with my purchase and was surprized how heavy the organizer becomes when fully loaded.

I wasn't aware that it was going to take so long to arrive.

I was quoted almost a month for shipping, but it arrived today (so, early). The tracking number is from China, so don't expect it to update past when the item has actually shipped.

It looks exactly like the pictures, and my battery tester works. If you're unsure as to what the voltage should be on the batteries you test, just read the battery and it will tell you. As long as the voltage on the display is around the voltage printed on the battery, you're good to go!

This product was just what I needed. Rarely do the battery makers provide adequate packaging for bulk battery purchases. And what they do provide is sorely inadequate. Lately all we are finding is that the packaging must be disposed of completely leaving a pile of batteries. This organizer solves that problem. The only issue I have is that the AAA could use another row. We typically buy AA in packages of 48 which fits the organizer perfectly. But there are only 24 slots for AAA batteries and the bulk packages we buy come with 34 batteries. As we use few C and D batteries, I have the excess sitting in those slots the best they can.

The battery tester wasn't required as we already had a standalone one, but the idea of including it with its own slot in the organizer means we now have a tester sitting with the batteries at all times. And so far it has been a very useful tester.

Why didn't we get this long time ago? My wife said to me when she saw the final organized kitchen drawer with batteries. We have had a lot of loose batteries in one of our kitchen drawers for a loooong time, 8 years to be exact. As such, it was a big mess.

This battery organizer is small in size, it holds various batteries and has a battery tester. The high capacity of over 100 batteries to be stored certainly helps when there are other comparable products holding around 80 or so batteries.

The only thing I noticed is that the tester's writing says "good battery > 1.00V". For an AA battery, for example, 1.00V may be considered rather weak. We may want to use a battery that's at least 1.2V, etc. though there may be personal preference.

Anyhow, we do like the fully organized drawer, and we think we should have gotten it a long time ago. You will like it!

I recommend this product.

So so awesome. I have actually been looking for a battery tester like this for years. One that is digital and does not require a battery to test other batteries.

It was not as easy as I thought it would be. I bought one at Batteries Plus I thought was perfect but when I opened it it required a battery, and guess what? The battery in the tester drained somehow and every time I wanted to test a battery it was dead. Aarhggg! Plus it was super delicate, felt like pieces were going to snap off when I used it.
This tester is the exact opposite of the Batteries Plus one in every way. It does not require a battery. It is built strongly and is easy to use. It tells you the voltage extremely fast. And it comes with the super awesome battery tray. I love it and I only got it today!

I have had every size of battery, bought in bulk from Costco, stored in a cabinet under my tv. Any time I needed a battery it took forever to rummage through the cabinet and all the boxes I had batteries in to find the right battery. It took me less than ten minutes to place almost all my batteries in this neat container which slides in and out of the cabinet easily and displays the batteries for a quick find. Now it takes very little time to find the right battery and a secondary benefit is I threw away four plastic boxes holding all the batteries and I have more space to store more junk!

I absolutely love this item. It allowed me to quickly organize my battery/junk drawer. The included tester is great because it uses the battery you're testing rather than needing one of it's own. I can now not only check if a battery is good but quickly and easily see what sizes and types I have. I use mostly rechargeable batteries but have a few regular ones for certain items. I can keep those separate so I know what's what in a flash.
I love that this can sit flat in a drawer or be hung on a wall with the INCLUDED hanging tools (with mollys!!!)
Well made, light weight, fits the batteries snugly but not too tight... If youre looking for a battery organizer, BUY THIS ONE!

Sturdy construction, and I can figure out my battery inventory at a glance. The tester feels a bit flimsy compared to another similar unit I own, but I'm not docking on that since I considered it more of a freebie than the core product. I bought one for home after I received the one I bought for work.
