This leave in hair oil is the only product I will ever use again!!!!! Have had to order it online because it is out of stock in every store in t town which tells me others feel the same way. As a hairdresser I have use almost everything out there and Agadir surpasses them all. If your hair is frizzy, fly away, damaged, dry, even oily Agadir is right for you. The soft, silky, shiny results of this product are almost magical. After the first use I was amazed to find my hair, which has always been dry, dull and straw like, soft as a newborn bunny with shine I have never had before. It's not oily like most other hair oils, I know that sounds strange but it's true there is no filming, wet look and it smells great.
I've tried a few other argan oil sprays but keep coming back to this one. I have thick, long, wavy Asian hair that is dry at the ends. This spray keeps my hair supple without being too oily. It has a warm, somewhat musky scent that I don't mind and which fades quickly anyway. I docked one star because if you spray near your roots, and tend to get oily there anyway, it can cause a little oil buildup that makes your hair seem more "second or third day after wash" than it is. But that is easily remedied by watching where you spray.
Per The product can be used on any hair type. It's free of alcohol and enriched with Vitamin E, antioxidants, and 80% unsaturated fatty acids. Since consumers tend either to see lists of chemicals and scream, "Cancer!" or revert to helplessness and consent to bathing their tresses in embalming fluid, I'm going to break down the ingredient list for the sake of informed decision-making, including brief description and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) rating of each chemical.
Ingredients
Cyclopentasiloxane (a liquid silicone; MSDS Health Rating = 1), dimethicone (a silicone polymer; MSDS Health Rating = 0, cyclomethicone (a liquid that adds a silky, powdery feed to cosmetic products; MSDS: no known hazards) , argania spinosa kernel oil (argan oil; MSDS: non-toxic/pharmaceutical and food-grade item), caprylyl methicone (liquid silicone that reduces "tacky" feeling of oils; MSDS: not determined but determined that product contains no suspected or known carcinogens), phenyl trimethicone (conditioning agent; classified as not expected to be toxic or harmful by Environment Canada Domestic Substance List), fragrance
Is it safe?
Yes. All chemicals have been tested on humans and are classified as posing no threat beyond minor skin or eye irritation. Agadir Argan Oil Treatment is as safe if not safer than the chemicals in the air you breathe or the sudsy stuff you use to wash your baby. Furthermore, none of the chemical ingredients are known to produce toxic byproducts when heated (by hair dryers, straightening irons, etc.), which is not the case with keratin conditioning/straightening treatments, even those that claim to be organic.
I went to my wife's hairdresser to get my hair trimmed. I have letting it grow long. I guess it's just my middle aged crisis. She gave me a small sample to try and I did. It left my hair feeling very soft. I really like the spay bottle that it comes in. The mist is very fine and the bottle seems to last forever. My hair is not frizzy anymore and even though it is an oil my hair does not feel greasy. The main reason I really do usually use these types of products is because the either make my scalp itch or my hair oily but not Agadir Argan oil.
Love this for use with flat iron. I've been using Agadir for a few years now and I've tried several flat iron "conditioning" products. I finally just don't try and others as this is perfect for keeping my hair in good condition even with flat iroing 3-4 times a week. Only a fine mist is needed on each section so it goes a pretty long way. It does not leave my hair greasy and is light weight and also smells great!

I have not tried any other kind of argan oil so cannot compare it to others. But I love this product! I have dry frizzy hair and live in a humid place which is a bad combination. I dry and straighten my hair then rub about four sprays through my short hair. The color of my hair looks richer, there is a tremendous increase in shine, and the frizzies tame better any other type of products I have tried. This is my must have, go to product!
As long as I spray a little on my hands, rub together, and then work into ends, it works great. If I spray directly on hair it looks a little oily and I've gotten spots on my clothing that way also... that's a user error though! The product works and smells great.
Amazing scent and phenomenal hydration. I love that the spray is more misty than blobby like the 100% organic argan oil. The mist not only feels great but it also makes the product last quite longer than the opposite. This is so far the very best oil I have encountered but only wish it was organic...
For those sensitive to fragrances, you might want to be careful and test on a small area first to see if the smell is too strong. I am fairly sensitive but this fragrance was quite pleasant and not obnoxious at all.
I started using Argan Oil and instantly felt like i had the softest baby hair ever! I actually use another argan oil to put on my hair while wet and i use Agadir Oil Spray for after / in between shampoos. I love this oil spray because it's a MICRMIST and super fine mist allows you to not overdue too much into your hair. Also, i had no idea that 5 oz was such a large bottle. I guess i thought it would be small and pricy like most hair products, but man, i bet this Agadir would last me forever, especially if i'm only using it for "after" my initial blow dry / in between shampoos.
I have coarse, naturally curly hair...you'd never think i had it cause my hair is straight, sleek and soft. Also it's all about the round brush you use. if you have long hair like me, it's best to use a large barrel brush, like 4 or 5 inches. they are hard to find, but worth it when you find it. it cuts your drying time in half. I also recently upgrades to a "ceramic and ionic" hair dryer, again, cutting my dry time in half and protecting my hair better. The argan oil makes my hair look so much less fried too.
It's a bit of a splurge but this product has been a staple in my hair routine for YEARS! My mother started using this product when I was in high school. Her hairdresser recommended it. I have been using it ever since she told me to get my own bottle :) . It makes my curly hair shiny, manageable and it smells so pretty.
