Strong, durable, a great value. Fits across the back of my 2009 GMC Sierra Crew Cab with zero issues. Install was under 5 minutes and that included moving two car seats, so it'd be under a minute for someone just looking to protect their backseat.
I'll start by saying I have a 60lb Australian shepherd that I drive around in my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited for when we go camping, hiking or to the dog park. Zeus gets very wet and gross during most of these adventures hence the need for a hammock. He also likes to lean on the edges of the hammock so he put some a lot of strain on materials
I got this to replace a name brand hammock that cost twice as much, was nowhere near this well built and had less features
All stitching is reinforced, all zippers seem very sturdy and the material seems extremely water and rip resistant
The side flaps are a great addition although I just leave them unzipped to funnel dirt and hair straight down for easier cleaning
There are plastic tubes that go through the seat and loop around the car seat anchors. This does an excellent job of preventing the hammock from sliding forwards no matter how my 60lb Aussie leans on it

It fits ok, a little loose on the sides. The problem is the mesh is not really that strong, or tight knit. My dog has already put a scratch on my brand new leather, right through the mesh. I have to cover up my seat now with a blanket first, which defeats the purpose. Next one will not have mesh window.
Update, the seller sent me a new one without mesh and it is great! Fits nice and seems durable.
I was in great need of one of these seat covers as we have a 5 month old Saint Bernard puppy and I didn't want him to get the back of my Jeep all muddy and covered in hair as the seats are fabric, and this is absolutely perfect!! I'm so happy that I read the reviews and decided to go with it! The only thing for me is that my 2000 jeep Cherokee doesn't have head rests on the back seat but I decided to order this product anyways and I used 2 bungee cords to strap it to my car, and it worked just fine! I really like the greenish-grey color and the material appears as though it will hold up very very well! I'm really impressed!
This "hammock" seat and door protector is well made, with sturdy materials, and looks like it will work well. The sides seem helpful in protecting doors, but will not prevent what my dog does when she sees another dog from the car, she starts digging at the door panels to try and get out. So in addition to this hammock, I purchased some door protectors, and I believe the combination will work better. Perhaps the hammock without the sides and then the addition of door protectors would be a better combination for me, since unzipping the side protectors and releasing the strap that goes up to the upper handholds will be inconvenient every time the dog enters and exits the vehicle. I am happy with the purchase and think it is a good product. I can see how the side panels would be useful, particularly on longer trips, as it will contain the dog in a specific area. The velcro openings allowing one to secure a harness to the seat belt receptors are also good.

Great product! I have a Chevy Malibu and it fits very well. I have 2 pit mixed fur babies and it stands up quite well to their roughness. I like how it stays in place when properly installed with them jumping in and out the car. Before buying this seat cover I would have scratches on my cloth seats as well what ever else they brought into the car from the dog park. Now the seat cover takes all the abuse and still looks good. I also like how the seat cover is easy to remove and throw in the trunk if I have passengers. This seat cover has been a great help, I haven't had to vacuum my car since buying the seat cover. I recommend :)
After reading the reviews and seeing positive responses, we purchased the item. I have to say it was great! It fit perfectly in our RAV 4 and more importantly our beloved pet was comfortable with it and loved the 1,200 mile road trip! Although we did have bedding atop of the cover for the road trip; any day trips we had taken during our vacation was her laying or sitting up on the cover. The only thing we did notice was a slight odor when we opened it up. It could have been from being in the packaging. We left it out for 2 days prior to our trip and it wasn't noticeable anymore. Our RAV still has the new car smell. I would highly recommend it!
Please keep in mind that this seat cover is designed for bench type seats or seats that are close enough together to act as a bench. If there is a walkway between the seats, this is NOT a good option unless you have a small dog. A large dog stepping into the void between the seats will be thrown off balance and will probably not enjoy the sensation.
Having a Hybrid Hylander, I knew this going in and actually bought this to use as a liner for the back floor. It fits nicely and the sides come up and cover the seat belts for the third row. I use clips to hold the cover in place on the seatbelts and it works to keep that from being a temptation for my Alaskan Malamute.
The nice thing is that when I wash off the cover, I use the loops that would normally go over the head rests to hang the cover out to dry. While not designed for this function, it works very well, protects the seat belts, and gives a nice surface for my dog to ride on that is water proof.
I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone else looking to work with the same situation. Car manufacturers apparently do not think about this when they design their restraint systems.
Bought this for my 1988 4Runner as the dogs are not allowed in my wife's car and one has destroyed the seats in 2 other cars already (not his fault, his toenails are seam rippers).
It fits well, which surprised me. I like that the front zips up as my car is a 2 door and I can load the dogs into the back seat and close them in (one dog thinks the front seal is his even if someone is sitting in it, this keeps him in the back). I am looking for a better way to secure the sides as my handles that are bove the windows are set in from the side of the vehicle about 4 inches.
So far I have washed the cover twice (used air dry in the dryer) due to the amount of fir that it accumulated as well as it getting dirty from the beach/rain/mud. It has held up well with the 2 dogs getting in & out of the vehicle.
For the price this can't be beat. I am planning on ordering another as a spare so that I can trade them out when they get dirty.
04/07/2019 Update - After 4 months and 8 washes one of the seams is starting to unravel. I plan on stitching it back up as the rest of the cover is fine. Can't complain, I have definitely gotten my money's worth out of it.
I purchased this item to protect my leather seats in the backseat of my car and the fabric seats in the truck. My husband and I have a Pontiac Grand Prix and a Dodge Dakota truck and this seat cover works great in both vehicles. I have a 70 lb German Shepherd and he loves to navigate in the car, running from window to window in the back seat. I have had this product for a little over a year and I have not notice any significant wear or tear. It holds up great and is very easy to clean. I just take it out and flap off the dog hair outside and place it back in the car. When my dog has muddy paws, the material is very easy to simply wipe off with a rag. I love this product and I highly recommend it for any pet owner. It is very adjustable and compatible for different vehicles. I will likely purchase this product again from this seller if we needed to have a second one. Thank you!
