Some "daylight" bulbs can make any room, any time, feel like a laundromat at midnight. You can almost see the blue in the light itself. Not what I want for any room, but especially for my office, which gets very little natural light.
These bulbs are perfect for that situation. The light looks pure white, not yellow or orange, but it has a hint of warmth in it. They would be too cold for a living room or bedroom, but they are just right for a place where you want to add a LOT of light and stay focused through long tasks. We had been using nice, warm LEDs (2700 or 3000k), but even with plenty of light the place just felt dim. Swapping these in transformed it. Great ROI.
They fit most of the tracklight heads I happened to have around, but especially narrow or deep fixtures might be an issue.
The lights are GREAT. Very bright and a good beam. Exactly what you want out of a track spot light.
However, the bases are NOT QUITE RIGHT. I bought a 6 pack for 3 track lights, because I have not had good luck with LED track lights lasting very long and wanted a few spares. The first bulb fit in fine. I proceeded to break the next 3 of them trying to get them into place - they would not twist and lock. By comparing to my old bulbs, I figured out that the fit on the studs is too tight. I used a hand file and a Dremel to open them up a little, and finally got the last 2 to fit. Now I just hope they last as long as claimed....
So, then you ask, how can I still give them 4 stars? CUSTOMER SERVICE. I initially wrote the above with a poor rating and did not contact the sellers. The manufacturers themselves sought me out and contacted me repeatedly, apologizing for the issue and for my inconvenience. They SWEAR that this is NOT a common issue with their bulbs, having sold thousands of them and this is the first time they have heard of problems. I think they are sincere on both counts. They have also offered to refund my money. I highly value manufacturers who take such pride in their work and are willing to stand by it. Despite the problems I had with these bulbs, I would buy from them again.
Bulbs were ordered on 3/1 and received on 3/10 - a very acceptable shipping time considering the item came direct from China.
All four (4) Bulbs I ordered have been checked and illuminate properly (ie: no defects).
The Bulbs offered exactly the daylight temperature (5000K) that I desired. Their illumination was close to, if not more than the 50 watt halogen bulbs they replaced. (See Before and After photos included in this review). The LED bulbs were very close to the same dimensions of the halogen bulbs they replaced and I had no problems with the installation of the LED bulbs into the GU10 sockets and the ceiling fixture I have. (I researched this issue after previous reviews written by buyers who had purchased other brands of MR16 / GU10 LED Bulbs). If I require additional LED Bulbs of this type, I would have no problem purchasing these Bulbs from the same supplier again.
I hope that they offer me the projected life as indicated by LED manufacturers.
Arrived in 2 days and very satisfied. I grew up studying in "white" or "cold" light rather orangy indoor lights, and a big believer in white lights for eyes. Just like in the offices/libraries. I just switched to this bulbs in kids study room
a.k.a. dining table. We love it!!
Just that we may need to put the orangy bulbs back when we have visitors for dinner esp in winter to create more relaxed atomosphere tho! But for me this is what I've been looking for for the health of our eyes and happy we found it!
Bought this set to replace some first generation Gu-10 Led bulbs and talk about a huge difference! These bulbs are well made and emit a ton of light compared to the old ones I replaced. Definitely recommend these bulbs if you are looking for more brightness or replacing your old halogen Gu-10 bulbs!

These are surprisingly bright for 7.5 watts. I am comparing them to 9 watt lamps which I replaced because they were the wrong color. These are significantly brighter than the 9 watt and the color, so far as I can judge by my somewhat trained eye, really is close to dayllight.,
Well made, beautiful clean light. LED's for MR bulbs are finally reliable and inexpensive. My loft has seen its monthly bills go down by $50 and I may never need to go back on a ladder again to replace!!!

These lights are the brightest for the Gu10 type. They brightened the living room where it needed to be. 50W and less bulbs were too dull and did not light up the room.
These are exactly what I was trying to find ! The stores in my area don't seem to ever carry them !

I bought these for my salon. The original lights were warm, casting a golden tone on hair. To have more accurate results with my clients, I wanted to find something close to daylight (6000K). These lights are marvelous and bright. I would purchase again.
