Sony WI-SP500 Wireless in-Ear Sports Headphones, Black (WISP500/B)

Easy to set up. I can see why some might not like the design, but I think it makes the controls accessible and easy to use. I don't get the negative reviews. Some say they disconnect but I bought 2 and haven't had any disconnections. Also, make sure to change the size of the ear plastic thing to the small one if it hurts your ear. You need to put them on in a way they are not hurting your ear. I've worn these for hours and haven't had any issues at all. They don't fall easily and stay put. Accessible volume and skip buttons are great! Not even the airpods have this.

I have the beats wireless headphones and these sound better than the beats.

These are a great pair of Bluetooth earphones. At first I was iffy about the shape of the ear tubes but they balance and rest very well. The ability to let enough outside noise in while still getting good audio is impressive and not a trade-off like most brands. The low end solid but not over doing it in excess. The overall EQ of the earbuds is a lot better than expected and sounds like a nice pair of dedicated music headphones rather than average running headphones.

As for weight, they are light. I have walked far out of range of by phone a few times forgetting I had these in. Speaking of range, it's bluetooth and it is just as good as any quality bluetooth connection and way better than what you get on the sub $49 pairs you get on amazon.

If you have an android phone with NFC, pairing is they way NFC is advertised in commercials, it's instant and outstandingly flawless. Also your the android people, turn on the bluetooth 'Media Volume Sync' on your phone if you are in to that. These support that feature. It makes the volume control on your phone and the +/- on the earpiece work together in stead of independently. Yes these work with your computer, iPhone, other cellphone, etc.

If you are still reading this just click order already. You will not be disappointed unless you want noise canceling for a flight or a spouse or kid; for that buy the WI-SP600.

First - I've only used these earbuds with a Sony mp3 player. (so far, my favorite earbuds are all Sony or Skullcandy)
That means I've not used the mic.
That being said, as is my experience, Sony is fantastic. These are lightweight. The sound is great. The instructions are quite straight forward. Therefore, these are easy to pair with something.

My only complaint is that my weird ears cannot handle the way these feel. They are a touch too big for me, unfortunately.

At first when I got these earbuds I was ready to send them back. The earbuds fit awkwardly in my ears and I tried the one only different tips provided in the package. They are not inner earbuds so you fidget with them constantly to insure that they don't fall out during a jog or workout. I was also a bit disillusioned with the level of max volume to block outside sound. I went onto my iPhone applications and added an Onkyo HF Player volume and bass boost application for free to my iPhone. This application only works on Apple iTunes and not Spotify or Amazon music. Once that was installed you really get to see how great the bass and clarity of music is. I think these earbuds are best utilized for airplane travel, reading or any other stationary activity. You really have to venture into the $100 plus price point to get great workout earbuds.

These buds fill a need. I'm not saying they are perfect. But, compared to my other ear buds, they are the best.
I am an average size person. The buds fit my ears pretty well. Although they come loose and don't stay in place in every situation. If that's the most important feature for you, there are more secure designs.
I've taken several calls with them and they worked better than expected.
They are comfortable. You really can ware them all day.
My Pixel says the connection is HD (AAC). I really didn't expect that from a pair of $40 ear buds. My other ear buds don't have an HD connection.
They sound great and I can still hear the world around me (which is why I needed them).
Battery life is more than twice as long as my three other sets of ear buds. That's actual use. Not returning them to their case to recharge them several times.
The pros out way the cons with these buds.

Battery seems to last longer than 8 hours of music listening, I have used for 6 hours and still has 75% percent charge left....The ear tips are like bose's tips, dont need to be inserted deep into the canal and the best part is the sound....i have a xperia phone which comes with Sony player and they sound nice ...Phone calls sound clear and loud, I will buy again...

Pros:
-Great sound quality
-Wireless!! (for the most part). Great for when I'm doing art projects so wires don't get in my paint or chopped by my tools or for when I'm on the go or at the gym
-Doesn't take long to charge + battery life is pretty decent. They got me through a whole 8 hour-bus ride!
-Bluetooth connection/pairing is fast and easy. Just hold the power button down until the voice says "pairing mode activated" and they're ready. Then they connect to my iPhone X as soon as I turn them on.
-They turn off by themselves if you don't use them after awhile

Cons:
-I'm a smaller person and these look a bit large on my face and the shape/size can get uncomfortable and even start to hurt my ears after a little while. They work for taking on a walk/run or to the gym but I definitely can't sleep in them or wear them for an extended amount of time.
-Bluetooth connection can get confused if you pair with 2 devices. I had these paired with my phone but needed them for my laptop so I paired them with my laptop but then I had to repair with my phone. Not a huge deal, but can seem sort of inconvenient if you have to keep repairing.
-This is totally a con for only me but I like to use only one ear sometimes but with only a cord to connect the two earbuds, the earbud in my ear will start to fall out if I have the other side simply resting over my shoulder. Kind of an all or nothing deal. Once again, not a huge deal but kind of inconvenient at times.
-Another con that is by no way a fault of the earbuds themselves but I'm just not a fan of earbuds I have to charge when my other earbuds are sitting right there.

So I guess invest in these if you want a decent, cheaper pair of gym or active earbuds but I wouldn't use them as my go-to pair all of the time.

I have tried lots of brands of earbuds over the years, but Sony makes the best ones for the money. These are simple and easy to use, yet they have an impressive sound quality and battery life. They don't move around much or feel like they are going to get bunched up/hung up on something, so I don't worry about them getting ripped out of my ears. Very snug comfortable fit as far as the earbud part goes. I use these all the time. Stickin' with Sony from here on out.

I like these headphones for the most part. Great price and work just as a
expected. I could've spent more on a nicer pair, but I saw these and they had good reviews, and I'm glad I purchased.
Side note ** I had to get used to how they fit in my ear and the sound is a little different than what I was used to with my regular plug in headphones but other than I like them. They also reach pretty far for the Bluetooth part of it.

I have been using sony earbuds for as long as I can remember, and they have only failed after extensive use. I was in the market for wireless earbuds and I purchased two different styles prior to buying these, they where either poor quality or didnt fit my ears right. These earbuds are comfortable, easy to use, easy to charge, sound good, i can still hear my surroundings when exercising. I highly recommend these earbuds.
