2 day shipping, packaged well but wire nuts were not included, unlike Gosund who sells basically the same smart switch. That's the reason for 4 stars.
Follow the wiring instructions and how to get it pairing mode and you won't have problems.
1. White to white (neutral)
2. Black to black (load)
3. Red to Red (load)
4. Green to ground
5. Turn light on, press and hold the power switch until fast green blinking light
6. In the Smart Life app, add a device and give it a personal name. (must be on the same network of the mobile phone or table running the Smart Life app).
7 If using Google Assistant, open Google Home and add the device.
I give the switch itself 5 stars, but the instructions only get 3. The switch works very well, and installation is easy. Setting it up with its own app isn't hard, but setup for Amazon Alexa is inconvenient.
Setting up the switch with Alexa is inconvenient because the instructions to do so can only be viewed by scanning a QR code. To scan the code, I first had to find and install a QR reader app on my phone. Once I opened the Alexa tutorial, the type was so tiny it was very difficult to read, and the tutorial wouldn't allow zooming.
I'm happy with the way the switch works with Alexa once I finally got it set up, but getting there wasn't as easy as it could have been. It would have only cost a few cents more to include an additional slip of paper with the Alexa instructions, and this would have been a 5 star review.
My family is pretty new to the smart home thing, but we've been searching for switches and plugs from off brands that work well in comparison to the more expensive brands. I'm happy to say this switch works well so far!!
I have 5 high quality LED lights on a switch in my living room and Ive been searching for a dimmer that dims very low but doesn't flicker. I've gone through various brands and models from big box stores and here on Amazon with no luck. Either they barely dim at all or they flicker. So far this one does everything i want! The "smart" functionality is nice too and the Smart Life App works pretty well. The instructions are in need of a better english translation, but so far that's my only complaint.
Simple install. Use their app to configure, then load the alexa skill if want to integrate...took a bit to figure out how to set up dusk to dawn control...had to set it up in the smart life app as an automation scene..but works well now
Would gave given a 5 if that process was more obviuos...

I have an old house with metal switch boxes. This installed with no issues and paired perfect. Been using this switch for 2 weeks, lost house power and it restored itself as expected. The LED indicator is bright green when off and when on the LED changes to red. I used my own switch cover because I installed in in a double gang box.
Very good switch for the price.
I love being able to turn this sick off and on from my phone. The installation took a bit of time but after I figured it out I was quite pleased. I will probably buy several more so that I can control devices in multiple rooms.
They work great our kiddo are always forgetting to turn off the lights now we don't have to worry. A little bit challenging to get to pair with the Alexa but now it's perfect
I was looking for a less expensive option than what I was seeing from some of the name brands and wanted to install using WiFi signal instead of Z-Wave. Easy setup, functions perfectly and I recommend these highly. Remember that you need either a tri-band WiFi signal that offers 2.4GHz or just a single WiFi signal that uses 2.4GHz.
Works with Smartlife app, allows for timer and auto on/off. Wish it had a sunrise/sunset setting.
