Cons:
Users accidentally trigger the touch controls when adjusting the headphones or resting their head.
Users accidentally trigger the effects button when reaching for the NoiseGaurd controls.
Some users are unable to remember the many touch control gestures. (Naturally, the most commonly used gestures are easy to remember.)
I ordered the refurbished PXC 550 Wireless headphones. While I noticed some poor review ratings, I can say definitively that I did not have a similar experience, mine was very positive. The headphones themselves are great. 5 stars because:
1. The headphones arrived and operate as described and they are amazing. I researched several brands and models, watched plenty of reviews and read a slew of articles about the best players in this class. It came down to the PXC 550's or the Bose QC 35's. I use these primarily for work. I work from my computer all day long, constantly on calls and meetings, listening to music in between, and I also travel. I love the variable level of noise cancellation the PXC 550's offer which is incredibly easy to adjust to the situation (not to mention the talk-through feature which is outstanding and comes in handy far more than I had originally thought). The audio quality is second to none, the comfort and wearability beat out the Bose QC 35 in my opinion. I can wear the PXC 550's all day without issue and have been since I received them. Lastly, the design and functionality are top notch and best the QC 35's as well. The Bose QC's design is dated and the touch controls on the PXC 550's is responsive and modern (it does take some adjusting and learning before it becomes intuitive, admittedly, but I've settled in great). I've got the headphones paired with my laptop and phone and can switch between the two seamlessly. I do not regret my purchase at all, these are the better headphones, for me.
2. I received my order on time, by the earliest date window provided.
3. My order was actually missing some small accessories that should have been included (audio jack and airplane audio adapter). I reached out to the seller not knowing what to expect but was very pleased with the prompt, responsive, and courteous customer service I was given. I was taken care of quickly and the issue was resolved without any friction whatsoever.
Given the quality of Sennheisers products and the level of customer service I was provided, I would absolutely purchase another refurb product from them. Service quality goes a long way, this is lost on many retailers but not Sennheiser.
This is the best pair of ANC Bluetooth headphones. They have great bass and also great mids and lows. The pass through feature is amazing and prevents me from having to take off my headphones to talk to someone then have to put them back on. I have been searching for great headphones for a while that covers all these points and this by far outperforms the rest. Definitely will suggest to friends and family. Great buy!
one of the best headphones i had. and i have audio technica m50x, AIAIAI Studio, JBL BT55, Status Audi, Bose qc35, And they really stood out among the greats. 299$ is a bit much. but i really liked them. the sound quality is spot on, the Bass is good, The Highs and Mids really there. 30 Hours of life time. the Bluetooth range is amazing. But i really wish they were a bit louder.
These are honestly an amazing deal. I was skeptical at first, but they arrived in original box, with everything included. No signs of wear, absolutely clean, the headset looks brand new. Most likely your looking at open box returns which are being sold as refurbished. One of the best features that trumps the Bose QC35II is the adjustable ANC, and the app that you can install for free which allows you to adjust the music settings. I mainly use these in an office setting adjacent to a shop floor, and with the ANC fully on, it really does cancel out the majority of the noises. You still will hear people’s voices, but just barely. Turn on music, and you really cannot hear a thing. Another feature that is actually quite great, besides the touch controls, is the fact that you can double tap and the music and ANC will kick off, and the headphones microphones will turn on allowing you to hear your surroundings very clearly. Useful if someone walks up to you to talk. If your considering the Bose, Sony, or Sennheiser, buy these. You can’t beat the deal, and you won’t be disappointed.

Other than the box, the rest of the contents were pristine. I expected more indicators of wear or use of some kind. The contents were all there and appeared to be still unused and in new condition. I used these headphones on two eastern Europe trips and they never ran out of juice. The iPhone will run out of juice before these headphones will. Not as excited about the noise canceling or "talk through" options, but the rest works well. Touch controls take time to get used to the expected methods of interaction and control movements.
Better sound than I knew Bluetooth headphones could produce.
These are by far the best headphones I have ever had. The sound quality is superb, the headset is very comfortable and it has some really cool features. I couldn’t recommend this enough. If I could give more than five stars I would! My whole family is now wanting these, after testing them. This is my first time using Senheiser so I was quite nervous about spending so much on an unknown brand (unknown to me, I’ve always used apple, ew I know) but my best friend recommended these to me and I can confidently say I’m not a bit disappointed. I can’t give these enough praise - I highly recommend these!
