I'll be honest, it was a bit below expectations. Nice construction and excellent packaging and even came with a bonus temperature probe. The two downsides so far are below expectation range and the difficult to open stand for the receiver. I have noticed the effective range for the receiver varies between 20 and 50 feet. Sometimes it won't display the data while I am literally only 10 or 15 feet away. Obviously that can be frustrating, but when it works, everything is great. The other small thing is tbe kickstand for the receiver, its blinkin impossible to open it with fingers alone. Bad design, but any sharpish instrument can pop it up.
Only used it twice but I'm in love. I have three i-Grill mini's, one for the boat, one for the motorhome, and one for home. By the time I get the stupid i-Grill paired up with the smart phone bluetooth the meat is already done. Turn both off and reboot, turn it on, unpair the Mini, reboot the phone, turn it on, trying, trying, trying, and Maybe you get it to work, Then just when you think it's time to check the temperature again the thing has lost connection. I have to keep the phone within 6 feet of the I Grill Mini transmitter or it loses connection, again, and again, and again. Per one reviewer I pried up the battery contact tabs to make better contact. It helped,....until it didn't. Very painful.
This thing, you turn it on its already paired and ready to go. I moved the monitor 150 feet away just to check and no loss of connection. This is my fifth type of remote bbq thermometer and all others have been dismal. The simplicity of operation, fast temperature reads (like 3 seconds instead of 15 seconds like the i grill) and solid (so far) connectivity, I love it. Let's hope it lasts, if not I will update this post. It has been a three year quest of mine,...to find a simple reliable wireless remote bbq thermometer.
I like that you can have the smoker temp on one probe and the meat temp on the second probe taking the guess work out of when it’s done. I like directions that are ease to follow and these are not and I had to play with it for several hours to get the high and low temperatures set but that was not a deal breaker but I would rewrite them. Would of liked to see recommendations for smoker setting for all foods and recommend times to cook the food items.
I have an old fashion meat thermometer and I compared the reading from that one to this electric thermometer and they are almost the same, so I know that this one is accurate! I like that this one has a remote and that once you set it up you don't have to burn yourself like the old fashion thermometer.
I purchased this thermometer to use with my smoker. The display is lighted and has a nice sized readout so I can smoke at night. The two probes allow me to take the temperature of the meat and of the smoker at the same time. The wireless feature allows me to take the display with me around the house so that I don't constantly have to babysit the smoker. It allows you to select a preprogrammed temperature or to set your own and it will notify you when your set temperature has been reached.
What set this product apart from the others is the hard protective case that can safely fit all pieces of the thermometer inside.

I finally pulled the trigger on getting a digital meat thermometer. After looking into them, I found the Riiada TM08. Wireless was necessary as I did not want BlueTooth. After a couple of uses and looking at doing larger quantities of meat, I liked the unit so much I purchased a second. Now I am able to do 3 large pieces of meat, monitor their temp as well as the interior temp of the smoker. Personally, I think the quality is perfectly fine. The probe cords are both durable and plenty long. The units are well constructed. They are not made to throw around, I don't know of any thermometer that is, so I am sure they will break if not handled properly. They are easy to use and come with clear directions. I would have a few extra AAA batteries handy as one set of batteries that came with the unit were bad. No big deal though, batteries are cheap enough. The temps are accurate from unit to unit. I love the carrying/storage case that they come in as well. Definitely would not hesitate to buy another one if I am doing even larger quantities of meat. HIGHLY recommend this unit.
Today is the first time that I had an opportunity to us the Thermometer. I was very impressed by how easy it was to use, once I copied the instructions and printed them on a 8.5"x 11" paper sheets. I needed to blow it up so that I could read it.
The displays are large enough and the readings are changing at a reasonable rate.
I like the fact that there are two probes, I used one foe checking the temp of the smoker and the other for the temp of the meat.
I am very pleased with the performance of the unit and will recommend it to anyone.

Awesome unit. Easy to use and nice large display. It come with the batteries you need and is ready to use. Very good product would refer this to family and friends. The distance from the sensor unit to the display unit was great. I was able to walk all through the house and still have it connected and the alarm feature worked flawlessly.
Very easy to use, great range, and the beeper is loud enough to be heard in the next room. Also is the right volume & level for people with hearing loss to hear. Great product!
