The best fountain pen I've ever used. It starts writing right away, even after a week of non-use. It is smooth, never skips and distributes the ink evenly, not pooling at the bottom of whatever you are writing. Writing has an even shade of ink throughout. I liked it so much I bought a second. One for black ink and one for blue ink. It is a handsome pen with understated elegance that feels good in your hand.
This is an inexpensive and excellent fine-nib fountain pen that writes first time every time.
Writes with enough resistance. Great weight. Good value at the price. Just wish the industry would use a standard cartridge.
I couldn't be more pleased. I ordered this pen, even after reading the poor reviews. I don't understand how anyone could fault this pen! It looks beautiful, it feels like a very expensive pen, and it writes like a dream. Let me say something about the Parker customer service also. I recently ordered a Parker Jotter, (however, not from Amazon) but it came with a medium nib instead of a fine nib, which I prefer. I contacted Parker Customer Service because they have a nib exchange program. They sent me a whole new pen with a fine nib at no cost, and I didn't need to return the other pen. How is that for service?! I wish I could give them a 6 star rating! If you are looking for a quality fountain pen without breaking the bank, you can't find a better one. I highly recommend it.
This pen writes well. I write every day at work with it, there is a very occasional problem where if I write a lot, then stop for 10 minutes, the ink will skip a little when I start writing again (about 1/8" or so). I haven't used a pen that didn't do this, so it is fair to say that this pen works as well as any other that I've used, and better than most. Well worth the money.
I wish it didn't have a proprietary ink cartridge, but other than that it is great.

Good pen, nice quality, and an actual fine point. Unlike the frontier, this nib is labelled as "fine" and is fine. Only issue is no converter, but they cost 7 dollars. The Frontier comes with one, so should this one.
I'm not fountain pen expert or daily user. But I like the good look and its smooth writing of fine nib. it fits comfortably in my small or medium right hand. If you have big hands, it's way under size for you. By the way, i ordered two as gifts when the the price went down more than haft of regular price.
This pen looks really gorgeous. From the black lacquer body and gold trims it looks much more expensive. The nib has a smooth medium to fine line. It has a balanced weight as well.
After trying other pens, some even double the price, this one finally does the job. Good quality for the price, writes neatly , no complains what so ever.
