I got this antenna as an early Christmas present for my husband. After installing it and doing the first scan for channels, he was delighted to find out that the one channel he couldn't get with the old antenna but really, really wanted, came in perfectly clear. So, thank you.

Used to have DirecTV for a couple of years. Their prices in my opinion are too high and I knew I could do better. I also own Fire sticks from Amazon with the Kofi program that I installed and I'm very satisfied with them. The only thing lacking was local stations but I was ok till I read about this antenna. I ordered it thinking the worst about it and was I ever surprised! I get 36 digital channels from it and I live 60 miles away from the broadcasting tower. This antenna is delicate only because it's aluminum and easy to bend if your not careful. Handle it carefully and your not going to have any problems. I mounted it on the DIRECTV post which is mounted on the side of my fireplace chimney. All I had to do was take off the dish from the post and disconnect the cable. Reconnect the cable after attaching the antenna to the post and I was ready. Easy enough to do but your safety should come first. Plugged in the power supply unit that came with the antenna after I was inside the house and things were ready to function. I let the TV tuner find the channels and started going thru all my FREE channels after it finished. If you get a fuzzy picture or black squares on any channel, just turn the antenna on the post after loosening the bracket and retighten after the picture clears up and your in business. I should have done this years ago. Not all channels are HD but all of them have a great picture.

Great product and great customer service! We didn't want to purchase a cable service because we only stay in our "home away from home " a few months out of the year. We were only getting 2 or 3 channels for free. Now, with this new antenna, we get approximately 50 to 60 channels and they all come in crystal clear! The antenna is easy to install and works great! I had already purchased one of the those antennas that looks like a mouse pad, and to didn't pick anything up whatsoever.

I honestly thought we'd be lucky to get about 10 channels, but was totally blown away with the variety and clarity of every channel we pull in.

We are very happy with this antenna, and the customer service was awesome. They contacted me first to make area we knew they were available for assistance.

Now, I have one in my home, I put one on my parents home, and I installed this last one on my cousins home. I have told other friends and family how good it is and will probably be installing at least one more of those for a friend who isn't able to do it herself. I hooked up 5 televisions to one of the homes and got good signal on all of the TV's. I just followed the instructions to use the splitter on the second TV cable not the lst TV position and had no problems so anyone worried about signal around a larger home need not worry with this antenna. The coax cable that runs from the antenna to the ratator box supplies all the power needed to ratate the antenna. It's extremely lightweight, in fact feels a bit "cheap", so I hope the weather doesn't wear it out.

Purchased a different fixed mount long range antenna and it worked OK, but what a pain it was to get it tuned in right. Up and down the stairs to the attic. What a difference this antenna makes. Assembling the antenna was very simple, although one screw head was defective. Once assembled I mounted it in the attic on an old broom handle I had laying around. Once you have it mounted, go fix a cup of tea, get your remotes handy and relax in your easy chair. I simply started with it pointing in the direction I thought the local TV stations antennas were located, selected auto program, and cheked the quality of the station signals I was interested in. If I didn't like it I simply hit the remote to rotate the antenna a bit, selected program, checked the signal, iterate. Add to that I was able to pick up TV stations that were 70 miles away. And you can't beat the price!

works great easy install well worth the money i

I had my doubts about this antenna, how could this device provide the channels it claims. Well after a few days it has worked great. Ism 65-70 miles away from St Louis Mo. when doing the auto scan on my televisions I picked up 38 channels. Picture is crystal clear.

My first antenna had some missing parts, contacted Amazon, I had a new unit within a few days. Service was great and antenna worked great also.

Update 1-13-19
Went through a snow storm Friday and Saturday, antenna worked great through the storm. So far I am very pleased with the performance.

Update 3-7-19
Antenna has been great, made it through the winter with no problems. Survived over 30 mph winds with no issues. I would buy this again.

Recently cut the cord from DirecTV, and my friend suggested that we simply climb up on the roof and remove the dish DirecTV left behind, then attach this antenna to the mounting pole from our satellite and -- here's the best part -- connect this antenna to the coaxial cable that was running up to the dish. Genius. It worked like a charm--both the installing it to the pole. I will say we had only one TV in the house before, so doing this didn't automatically mean every coax port in the house was now antenna-ready... but I think that has something to do with how DirecTV had the house hooked up when we originally installed cable. I remember DirecTV saying that if we wanted to add a second TV, they'd have to come out to "power up" another cable outlet, or something. But it doesn't really matter, because we only need the one TV that was already hooked up to DirecTV before, and now we have picture-perfect high definition antenna signal coming in on that same TV. It's fantastic and has held up well to the elements. I continue to recommend this antenna to ALL my friends who have cut the cord and want to get network TV.

I've been using this antenna for a month now and really am glad I chose this one. The antenna was easy to put together with the instructions. I was able to get it connected to the TV and as soon as I put the source to it, the channels came in so well. I am getting more channels that I thought I would get. I was really excited to know that I can change the direction by remote, but it seems so strong that I don't seem to need to move it. I am so happy with getting my local channels with this since my cable provider has had problems with carrying a local channel. It is such a clear signal that I couldn't be happier.

The channels we want to view are not too far away, but here amid the foothills and mountains of North Idaho, reception can be tricky, and most of the channels we want to watch are just blocked by our terrain. The little flat window antenna I tried at first was a flop. This unit was easy to assemble and install, in fact I talked my adult son through the roof installation from the ground. Immediately, we had good to excellent reception of almost every station in the area without even rotating the antenna.
I was dismayed a few weeks later when we lost three of our favorites. I discovered that the controller was dead; no red light. Reception was unimproved when I connected the antenna directly to the DVR. I contacted Amazon so that I could avail myself of the one-year warranty. They contacted the seller immediately and I received a promise from them the very next day that a replacement was on its way...easy, and reassuring to see someone honor their commitment.
The new controller arrived, I installed it and poof, the missing channels were back! My satisfaction was guaranteed by these good folks, and they are as good as their word.

Arrived quickly, installed on the roof peak (made sure the pole was level), connected everything up and now have excellent reception. The weaker stations are fixed by using the remote to rotate the antenna while sitting on the couch. The rotation works very good (powered through the cable) basically rotating either way until it reaches the 360 degree mark then auto-rotates back the other direction so the cable doesn't wrap around the mounting pole. Picked up a lot of new channels (re-scanned) even with the antenna facing one direction.

Drawbacks are minimal but need to be stated:
Items are provided but with mounting instructions - you're on your own. Look for mounting help via YouTube or pro help. You don't want this thing becoming a projectile or taking a chunk of roofing in a wind storm. The 4 wedge style anchor bolts are questionable depending on the roof thickness.I had one not open so it just spins. 2 Lag bolts are also provided but anchors are best to secure it. Another consideration is lightning. You are placing a lightning magnet on your roof! Even an indirect hit will destroy electronics. Drill a small hole on the mount, connect a ground wire and direct the energy straight to a ground rod (get from hardware store/Lowes/Home depot, etc).

It's also impossible to know which direction the antenna points without going out and looking. The quickest way is to keep bumping the remote until the signal hits "good". The other way is to get the station direction information from places like https://tvfool.com/ and use a compass...but again you will have to go outside and look.

All in all the antenna, price, and delivery is excellent, the weak area is as stated: mounting.
