So far, I like lanterns. I plan to use them for power outages and camping. Be advised, they do not use AAA batteries. Buy AA batteries. I bought four boxes of the wrong size batteries, and that’s why I left four stars - false advertising.
A perk to this lantern is that it is magnets on the bottom so it makes storing them good. I have mine stuck on the side of my washing machine in the laundry room.
They’re small, compact, and put out a good bit of light for the size. I recommend this product.

got these for the just in case emergency and put them in my vehicles. Magnetic base is a real plus. Works great, may live up to all the TV hype, but I don't plan on freezing mine a block of ice or submerging it in water.

Cannot beat these lanterns for the price. They put out HUGE light and are about the size of a 28 oz can of stewed tomato's.
