Bought this set for my 5yr old twin girls. They were always eying my makeup so thought they might enjoy their own.
I didn't want anything too grown up because it was obviously only for play/pretend. But I found play makeup to be over priced for something cheaply made, petroleum based, and many reviews claimed there wasn't much of it so didn't last very long if not essentially one time use.
Then I found this set!! It's more like grown up makeup but package perfectly for little ladies.
The little containers are adorable and well made. Hard plastic and sturdy. The blush and eye shadow have screw on caps while the lip glosses are hinged caps. My girls have difficulty opening the lip gloss as they close fairly snug.
The lipsticks are cute. One of the lipsticks did fall off but I think it was due to one of my girls trying to use it fully extended.
The cosmetic colors are vibrant and a scented. Doesn't take much for results. Washes off easily.
The brush and puffs are well made.
Good quality and well made.
I bought an additional brush set to go with since my girls love playing with mine. I also bought a small cosmetics bag to put them in because it doesn't come with one.
I was unsure how small these would be and was surprised as they weren't as small as I thought they'd be. I mean they are for kids so they aren't big but not miniature in the least.
Over all, I am ecstatically pleased with this set, my girls LOVE it! I would definitely recommend and have considered buying another set but feel this set will actually last awhile.

There's plenty of blue and purple powders which can be used as eyeshawdows. Those are perfect for a frozen princess makeup! And a HUGE jar of pink powders we used as blush. Very beautiful color with just a little shimmer. Those colors are the most popular colors among little girls. It even comes with puffs and brushes which makes life much easier.
The cupcake lipgloss are so cute! My 6 yr old daughter begged for this! The lipgloss itself is shiny. My daughter immediately applied them onto herself and her dolls.... The lipbalm is with very light pink color and coconut scented. It's good as a daily moisturizer.
This set is just as cute as the picture. I love this makeup kit. It's a decent gift for its price.
I gave this to my eight year old niece for Christmas because she started carrying a purse around. The kid almost had a meltdown she loved it so much. I won Christmas. Her mother thinks it's a nightmare because she keeps trying to sneak and wear it to school but...that's how you know it's awesome and now, by proxy, I'M awesome. My advice? Buy this.
I absolutely loved this set. I gave it to my 6 year old granddaughter for her birthday and she was thrilled to pieces! Her sister who is 4 years old used this play set right along with her. There is quite a bit of product and this should last quite awhile providing there are no major skills. A little instruction is needed for young girls so they don't end up with clown eyes and cheeks! I found the blush and eyelid powder washes off the face and the counter very easily with no staining. Supervision may be needed so the lipsticks don't get broken by opening them too much. Both girls did well with this. I would definitely recommend this product and am very happy with my purchase! I did give her a little glittery bag with the gift as there was no bag included.
These are adorable, washable, and very cute. My only issue is that the powders (glitters - super cute) have shaker tops, but when my daughter went to shake a little bit out into the lid (as her mom does with Bare Minerals...lol) the shaker lid falls out. The mess is easy to clean up, but it wastes the powder and my daughter was upset! Other than that, the set is adorable! We might super glue the shaker tops on to keep them from coming off.

Adorable, just be careful as it's loose powder not packed powder. My 9 year old daughter has always had sensitive skin, and this hasn't bother her. It was perfect for her to be able to play in and is nice quality.
We bought this set for our 10 year old daughter on her birthday, and she loves it. It’s supercute and a lovely alternative to other kits more geared towards older girls.
The jars are very well made and look durable. It doesn’t come with a container to put the items in, but we bought an acrylic one to hold the entire set and she had it on her bathroom counter.
Everything looks exactly as the picture but they are rather small. It's a Christmas gift for my granddaughter so I won't know anymore about the set. If, after she gets it, I'll add more comments to this review. I really hope she likes it because they're very cute.
We got this for our daughter and she loved the containers and the makeup. I love how cute each one is and we can use them after the makeup is gone.
ADORABLE!!! pigmentation is pretty opaque but no soooo much.. perfect for a kid!!! sometimes the blue eyeshadow opens up while transporting, but aside from that great product. my 6 year old loves it!
