I just got this yesterday so I’ve only been using it for about 24 hours, but I love it! It seems well made. The bowl is nice and big. I was worried about my 2 cats fighting for food, but it’s double the size of a normal cat bowl, maybe more.
Setup was pretty easy. It uses an app called PetFun. The app had me show a qr code on my phone screen to the camera on the device. Then enter a little more info. The camera image is great! I can see my cats plain as day. I can also talk with them and hear them. Exactly what I wanted! This will be so great when I’m running late in the evening or when we are out of town for the weekend!
If I had any complaints, it would be that the app is a LITTLE clunky. Not user intuitive. I have no clue how to fix the “Not Set” at the top. But I got used to it really quick and can operate the feeder with ease.
My friend just got a new puppy couple of months ago. I bought this for her since she lives by herself and the pet stays in the house by itself while she goes to work everyday. She has a monitor camera at home but she told me this is way better. She can control the feed/treat for the puppy, and what even better is she can actually have a very close look at her while she is eating! And she gets notifications as well.
She loves this auto feeder and definitely would recommend it.
I'll be honest. I was terrible at regularly feeding my cat. And when I did remember, my cat would gobble up the food and then throw up. Then, I would think that I was feeding him too much, so I would limit his food. So, I began this terrible cycle of the cat always thinking that he was hungry and following me around meowing all the time. It was driving me crazy.
Enter the Gasky Automatic Pet feeder. It's a lot of money to spend on something that I should be doing. But, as many of you, I have work, kids, and everything in between and it seemed like the poor cat was always being forgotten. This pet feeder was extremely easy to set up. All I had to do was plug it in and download the app. The app walked me through the necessary procedures to get the feeder connected to my local wifi. Then, I just had to set up the automatic feeding schedule, which was easy enough. Then, well that's it. I have had this feeder for almost a week and it hasn't missed a scheduled feeding yet.
This pet feeder has a few extra features which I really haven't used, but might be of interest to others. At any time, I am able to access the feeders built-in camera and I can interact with my cat. I can also record a message that is played any time the feeder drops food. Also, I can also take a picture or record a video of my cat if I want. What I really like is that the app keeps a log of feedings so that I can make sure that the cat received all the feeding that I programmed.
I have a couple of very small gripes, but they don't matter enough to effect my rating. First of all, I wish that the app had better instructions. I have easily been able to figure everything out, but it would be nice to have some instructions that walked me through all the features of the device. Secondly, I really wish this feeder had a way to tell me that it is out of food. Maybe a feature the company will add in the next version.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with this automatic pet feeder. For the price and features, this product is a no brainer. And I think that my cat is happy as well. Now, he has better things to do than follow me around the house worrying about his next meal.
I was hesitant to order this item, based off an unfamiliar brand name and a small number of reviews, but went ahead and ordered anyways, as it was exactly what I was looking for. I’m pleasantly surprised with how well it works! Very satisfied with the ease of the App, and it’s features. I’m not sure the issues with connection others had, but for me setup was a breeze. Grateful to be able to check on my cat while on a weekend getaway.
My only complaint is if you’re needing a very small amount of food per serving, this may not be the feeder for you and your pet. My boy is currently on a “diet”, and I had been measuring his food out to about 50g a day (about 1/3 cup of his food). Set to 1 portion on this feeder, the first portion will drop about 16g of food, and the next portion will drop about 48g of food. 2 portions consistently gives about 64g. I’m not sure if there’s a way to correct that, as it’s a little more than I’d like to be feeding him right now. But other than that, everything works as I had hoped.
I had the first generation pet net. And the second generation is definitely an upgrade. The design is more compact with the hopper still fitting a 4.5 L of food. The dispense tray is my favorite as it no longer holds food in the dispense chute. So food doesn't get everywhere when taking out the food dish. The one hand top lid redesign makes it easier to load food. Overall they have definitely improved from then original.

Our home has 2 labs 1 cat, and have a new born this year. We have so many house work to do, and this feeding machine really a great helper! We don’t need to feed our cat , but the machine will do it, two times a day!
1. It comes with a camera, so u can actually see if the machine really feed your pets or not.
2. It can records your voice, so evevrytime before it feed , it will play your voice to bring your pets attention, my cat will come quickly in front of the machine.
3. Once it feed your pet, it will send you a notification to your phone, so we will turn on the live camera to see if our cat really eat her food!
The only thing is the camera doesn’t have night vertion , so we can’t watch clear when the room is dark.
The product works as advertised. The device is synced with your smartphone and free APP, to offer changes of the feeding schedule, as well as being able to speak to your pet, and watch him or her on the camera in real time. Sometimes, I can't be home at exactly feeding time, so this comes in handy to keep your pet on his or her eating schedule. It also works well in the early morning when my dog just wants food before I'm not ready to get out of bed. Overall, it is solidly made and offers nice customization via the phone APP.
I have been using this auto cat feeder for a couple days and everything has been great. It is very easy to set up and connect the phone to the feeder. My cat has been trying to get food outside herself but she has no luck so far. It is a great help that I no longer need to get up early to feed her!
However, the app is kind of disappointing. Looks outdated, and flash quit frequently. Sometimes I need to launch the app a couple times to use it. Could use some software update.
Update: my cat is smart and crazy about food. It turned out she actually learned yo use her little paw to dig out some food from the outlet occasionally. I was going to return the product but after a research of the automatic feeders I realize almost all of them come with their own cons. I finally decided to keep it and if my cat does get some food out, that's my treat for her.
To summarize, pros:
- I can see and talk to my cat, which is a great feature not available in many other machines;
- the manual feed button is covered by a lid, it is impossible for my cat to push it herself.
- the dispense is quite and relatively accurate
- very easy to setup and use
Cons:
- the app is not stable (I'm using a Pixel 2), and that is the biggest issue I have with it
- it is not entirely cat proof.
convenient for when i'm not home to feed the cats, but has gone offline & not fed regular/scheduled feedings. i don't utilize the camera feature since i'm paranoid of someone hacking my camera (like so many baby monitors get hacked), but i can still eavesdrop on my cats to make sure the feeder worked & they're eating. i'm giving it 4 stars only bc of the feeders not feeding as scheduled 2x so far. set up was confusing, too. otherwise, when working, they seem good.
My cats love it! Great product! Easy to set up. Never ever need to get up early to feed my cats. Able to see them anywhere!
