Good- stable stand with hold down, does not need a PC, overall I really likes this.
bad - the app for the PC is junk but 50% of it works on Win10. Put it this way.. it will display on the screen PC easily, don't have further expectations like taking a video. The scope might work with other built in win10 PC apps since it shows as a generic camera is a good thing but have not tested yet. Also I think the battery is bad in mine, it will not power on till you put usb power and not charging. This Sits on a desk so wireless use not important to me. So I took one star off.
When trying to view at 200X plus you need something very stable, NOT hand held. With the pen types scopes the stands sink, so you go to focus the scope and just touching the scope to focus moves and you lose the view. This unit is very stable so you can clip something down and focus without losing you spot which is very important to me for looking for bugs in my buds. (BTW- seeing a spider mite under this scope scared the XXXX out of me it was so clear)
Best value for the $$ 100% for a scope of this type. The little screen in bright and clear and most important it just works. If I can get the app to snap some photos I'll update this review.
Totally didn’t expect this to be such great ,fun and useful device. I thought this is pretty much a camera that zoom in a bit more than your phone. But it actually do way more that I can see what I can’t see with my eyes without it.
I bought it for my middle school son who love science class and love the school microscope. This is a great alternative and affordable price. Tinny objects got magnified to the screen. Easy to use.
My third grade son love it!! He brought it to school. He used it in his science class last week. they were observed soil from all classmates's back yard, all the classmates had tried to use the microscope in the classroom. They had a great science class that day. it's just worth it.
I use it to look at antiques and jewelry, to understand how it was made hundreds of years ago, and also to look at some interesting insects, very interesting, and trust me, children will love it

Very happy with purchase. It works great! The only issue is with using the program. Better instruction are needed. Overall, a very impressive microscope..
Really helps read the micro print on items.
Beware that the charging cable got broke off in the port

Love this product. It is easy to use and my kids love to use it to look at the small world that is invisible with the naked eye.
