This drone is for adults and if used cautiously it is a good buy!!!
Initially I was stoked. This drone was lit! Controls were good, though I was still learning. It wasn't in headless mode, that was part of the problem. I handed off control to a friend, he was given clear instructions to keep it brief and low to the ground. The headless mode could have saved it, as my friend could not figure out which way to go.
I told him to land, cut the power, he was done. He initially did cut the power and it dropped like a rock, but in a safe location. I said, whoa whoa not so fast, in the hopes of a soft landing.
He then went full throttle and away from us faster than I had yet flown it myself. It was impressive to see it go so fast, yet sad. It landed in the ocean, well over 100 meters away from our location. I mean to say, the ocean was over a hundred meters away, the drone landed much further than that.
I jumped into the ocean and swam out to it, but the current was pulling it away. We were in a beach side park, but not close to the beach at all. I had been yelling at him to bring it down and was in a dead sprint trying to get to it. I didn't even think, I emptied my pockets and jumped straight in.
As far as I know the drone did exactly as it was instructed, the pilot clearly is the one who did not follow directions. This is a powerful drone, and one of the better drones in it's price class. I have another in my shopping cart right now...
This drone is very powerful, in fact too powerful for my skill level. This drone is a great size, not too big and not too small and very light weight.
The drone comes with two batteries but only one charger and each charge takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge and runs for about 6-8 minutes per charge. So if you want to fly this drone for 12-16 minutes it’s going to take you about 3 hours to fully charge both batteries. Which I highly recommend because you’re not going to want to go out just for 6 minutes.
The drone also comes with propeller guards and an extra set of propellers. The directions are ok but you have to use common sense for much of them because of the horrible writing. They need to be gone over with a native English speaker/writer.
Make sure you play with this drone in a large empty area. This drone will sky-rocket off into the air and if there are any blind spots you will lose it, and I’m still not sure the “return home” button works (must be in headless mode.)
I am very new to flying drones and am having a horrible time learning. The throttles are very sensitive and I wish there was an even slower mode than the beginner mode.
I still need a lot of practice with the drone and will update this review if I ever get it under control. My final opinion is it’s a very nice drone, great price and someone with more experience would probably be great flying it.
Great beginner drone. If you've never flown a drone before this a great place to start. Its affordable, and if you totally screw up, at least you haven't lost too much. The camera is not amazing but gives you some decent pictures and ok video. The camera is not on a swivel so any video that you may record is going to be shaky. In general its just fun to fly. It goes quite high and I've even crashed mine into a tree about 30 feet off the ground. Luckily I was able to retrieve it without any real damage to the the drone. The battery life is extremely short as expected so you will definitely want to have both batteries charged and ready to go when you bring it out to fly. If you get to the point where you start trying the flips be advised you'll really have to give it some power immediately after the flip because its going to start falling extremely fast. All in all, its a great affordable starter drone that you won't hate yourself for more than a day after if you ruin it or loose it on top of a roof.

Important Tips:
1. Suitable for pilots aged 14 years or older (please follow the instruction manual operate carefully)

Family loves this. It would be nice if there was a homing device to attach to it. The "home" button doesn't work and it has flown away twice. It doesn't handle well with the slightest breeze knocking it off course. That being said, on a windless day, it is great fun, takes beautiful pictures for the price/size and with the extra batteries, we have greatly enjoyed the time in the park.
We have fun with the drone, works well, responds well. We had to remove the guards to get any real flying time. It's a perfect drone for beginners and it even does flips once you know how to use it. Two batteries is awesome, pics are awesome. Well worth the money that it cost and is very durable.
I love this thing! They really did a nice job building this. I could not wait to try once it arrived. Since I am new to drone, I feel that it needs some practice to control it very well. Really like when you step up the speed how quick it can handle. It cost me about half an hour to learn how to use it very well. The rest is experience. Highly recommend for a first time drone pilot.The camera is very clear and I took some interesting photos while flying very high. Also, the package was really perfect. Overall, it worths the money.
Quite happy with this. Definitely helps to have the multiple battery packs (I got some additional ones). I fly with my 6 year old and we are still trying to get the hang of it. Got it stuck very high in a tree (have found a large open field to fly this since then). Couldn't retrieve till we had the right equipment to reach that high. It rained for a full day. Recovered it, and it was still working (after change of battery pack)
