This is a great little torch. This is the 2nd one I have purchased and the quality is excellent. I use them for my fireplaces.
I really like this torch. I use it to heat my honey straw and it works perfectly. The only problem I have is putting the butane in it. I have a hard time filling it everytime.
It's easy to use. Make sure the nozzle is turned all the way to the right, righty tighty, before filling up. The hissing sound is the noise it makes when you turn the nozzle to the left for ignition, not to fill it up... idiots who cant read... great durable item for the prize. I was surprised the flame is HUGE. Heats up a quartz banger in no time
In all seriousness this is one great torch. it is easy to refill and you don't have to hold down the trigger like on some torches. I love it.

I like the look of my 1st ever actual cooking torch. It has many other uses as well. I hve used one before to help light a woodstove fire. This one helped greatly for that. It burns super hot and super,super hot! Not used to flames that big. BF uses it more than me. I got a can like used for screw or twist on butane devices. It filled this well after practicing what was taught in some online videos i search, "refilling kitchen torch". He had it a little diagonally upside down, instead of straignt up and down. Also upside down, burp trapped air out of refill port using a small screwdriver or a nozzle tip if came with your butane. I do wish you could adjust flame smaller, but that's why they offer micro-torches for sale. Make sure butane gas is turned totally off when you are done as it will all leak out sitting there if not closed fully. The fill line window will show you an empty tank very soon after if not shut tight.
