Took it along as "Dad's backpack" and carryon to Europe. It did it's job well and was fairly comfortable to wear. As others have mentioned, you really can't overstuff it, and if you are not careful, under load/stress the zippers tend to slide apart, leaving the backpack open. Most of us zip the two sides and have the zippers meet in the top middle, but with walking and activity, the jostling makes the zippers move apart under gravity. The solution is to have one zipper travel all the way around to the other side to keep it closed.
As far as durability, more later, as we only used it for one week.
Exactly what I was looking for as a carryon on my upcomig fligjt-I especially like the “open wide” option and the spot for my laptop. I have not decided if i going to add the battery pack at this time

I purchased this as a bookbag to wear around disney and it served its purpose very well. The divided compartments made sure that organization is easy, along with the external usb port that I was able to charge my phone on the go so I can use it for pictures.
Bought this to fit under the aisle seat when flying and to be able to carry my laptop in it. Everything is looking like it will do the job but will not know for sure until my next flight (June). It appears to be very well made and there is a lot of extra storage along with carrying the laptop.

I am using this to take my computer and portable printer to locations while working. I has enough room for my equipment, papers, and miscellaneous materials. It has been easier to carry my equipment on my back than with the bag I used to carry. No problems so far but I have only been using it for a couple of months.
It has 2 compartments for laptops which I required as I need to carry laptops for my 2 clients and extra room for other stuff I need to carry when I do visits
