Nice sleek product and very easy to install. My concern ad reason for dropping a star rating is the power of the magnet included. For a standard Apple iPhone case this may be acceptable, 2-3 mm in thickness. Mine is roughly 4mm thick and believe the power of the magnet is too weak as it will shift around when docked. I ended up having to position the base so the phone would either be flat, not desired, or touching a bottom surface for support.
This magnet is solid! It took me a while to find the right spot on my dashboard, but as soon as I did -- it stuck! It holds both of our phones (not at the same time), even though we have different cases. I was worried about my husband's phone because his phone case is heavy-duty, with cobblestone like tread and a contraption that allows the phone to stand (like a kick stand). The magnet holds it in place. I like that they send static patches to put on your actual phone to keep the magnet tape from ruining the actual phone.
This product has come in handy since the new hands-free driving laws went into effect here in GA. Super strong magnet (in fact, it holds my husband's GUN!!) that keeps your phone mounted securely, and exactly where you want it on your dash. So nice not having to plug it in to your air vent or something like that. I stuck the magnet on the inside of my Loopy phone case (which it works perfectly with, btw), and have no holding issues through the case itself. How did I ever live without this?!
If you are questioning getting this, do it!!!!!! It is amazing. my husband and I have one magnet on each side of our car one for the trailer and one for the writer. It is perfect the magnet is strong and holds your phone well! Would buy this again in a heartbeat!!
I have several aquariums. My two largest aquariums have the Innovative Marine - Hydrofill Ti ATO kit. The ATO controllers are large, and with the added weight of the pump plug, they do not stay attached using the provided Velcro strips. This works, but there are not enough flat surfaces on a car dash where this could work well, my phone is about average weight for a small phone by today's standards and would not expect it to hold well during a relatively fast turn. I ended up using this in my office instead and it works well in there.
I love it. I had a flat, smooth surface to stick it on in my Jeep and it holds the phone (iPhone 6S) well. As far as it holding on a bumpy road (off roading) I’m not sure yet but it seems pretty sturdy.
I drive a Freightliner box truck on some of the worst highways in Northern California. I needed a spot to put my phone, with out it in my field of view. I bought the Wuteku Magnetic Cell Phone Holder, the flat mount version. It has never failed. Even with the Otter Box phone case.
Great product, be mindful where you install the metal plate to your phone, if your phone is capable of wireless charging, the metal plate will hinder wireless charging (it did on my Samsung Note 8). Install it at the bottom portion of the phone and it should resolve this. Wish I would have known that on the front end....
worked like a charm to mount my new FItech handheld controller to my CJ7 dash. Magnets are strong and have no doubt that it will continue to hold up even offroad.
