Based on things I'd read online about Tulsi, I knew that (a) it's mighty good for you and (b) you'll need to dilute it in hot water (i.e. making it into a tea) and then sweeten it a lot to make it palatable. Turns out that "B" ain't true. I'm not saying you'll love it like pizza, but it's palatable as is. I take a 1/3 tsp amount by heaping it on a 1/4 teaspoon by mouth and wash it down with water, or I'll take it in tea but without any sweetening. Either way, it's taste is neutral enough to be palatable, and even has a slight minty thing going for it. And I've not found a better value than this one.
Very good product, recommended, relaxation and great adaptogenic. I’m very surprised with this. And no, you don’t need to sweeten this stuff, like other posts claim flavor is not paltable... not true, very easy to drink without any sweetener.
This is my first experience with Holy Basil...so far so good.
I have read quite a bit about the health benefits so will continue to add to whatever I can.
This is good in tea.
You get a lot of product for the price! Mixes very easily and has caused no adverse side effects. I haven’t tasted it on its own, I usually mix it in a my night time tea which has flavored magnesium in it.
