I purchased this to improve the lighting over my long arm quilting machine. I could have done a DIY project with PVC pipe for around the same price of this backdrop frame. The PVC pipe would have not looked this nice and considering my longarm is able to be seen from my kitchen, looks were important. I added LED strip lights and have fantastic lighting over the longarm. I have the bar extended the full 10 feet as my longarm is that long. The center of the bar bows very slightly due to this but I believe the PVC would have done the same at that length. This would not occur if you don't need the full 10 foot length. The bowing is very slight. But I felt it important to mention in case you feel this may be an issue. I have not had issue with it. I didn't install the lower bar because I want to have storage underneath and so far that hasn't been an issue.
I'm so happy with this backdrop kit. I wanted one without tripods because the legs take up too much space. I needed it for craft shows and farmer's markets where I sell home made items, and booth space is always very limited. This stand takes up very little space compared to tripod versions where the legs are spread out. It's very sturdy too, the feet on the base are heavy cast metal it feels like, and the bottom brace really makes it sturdy. Setup and adjustments are very easy. I've already used it twice in the past week!
I've only used it once for a 10' x 12' cloth photo background. Now that I know it works, I will hem the bottom of the cloth so it fits on the lower support pole. For having a small footprint and being fairly light weight, the stand is stable for this size cloth. However sandbags were still used on the feet. It transports in a small compact bag that is great.
It comes well packaged and is easy to set up. Love the adjustable features and it's super handy for events! We use it to hang wedding decorations with curtain lights organza and flowers when walls are not available on event locations, it really helps a lot. It's a strong and stable frame, extending high and will not bend even fully extended. I would love it more if its top end is compatible for mounting an LED light. Overall, it's already perfect for what I need. Ready to set my stage!
Amazing! After completing the combination, it seemed that there were only three tubes, but actually EIGHT places can be adjusted! I highly recommend that you buy this size, of course, it should support the your largest background cloth! It's so stable and sturdy, my wife joked that it can even be used to dry clothes lol...Just kidding, we have not done this! Honestly, it's a simple installation because I have it done in my mind. I often change my backdrops. It has been more than four months since then, and it still works very well. I'm grateful!

I know what you guys are worried about, I can tell you with certainty that it is very solid and stable, and works pretty well! Tbh, I was very worried that it would not match my background cloth, but this worry is obviously superfluous. Neewer is a very strict seller, because the size given in its description is just the right size you will get! Seeing someone complaining about using it for a while, its plastic nut broke. I wanna say that I have been using it for two months, not very long, but it is very well protected(I really like my background cloth and this bracket), so it still looks like new! Btw, I didn't always adjust it. Immediately after receiving it, I replaced the original swaying support bar and bracket, and now I have only changed it twice, maybe 3 to 5 times. I am super satisfied with this shopping!
Very decent backdrop stand and easy to set up. I own my own pop up photo booth business and all my backdrops are 10x8 so this stand system is the perfect size and I'm able to hold and support them all. I bought this stand for the purpose of a step and repeat backdrop only so I needed something built that I could be able to to easily interchange between different back drops fast and this works very well in being to do so. If it can hold and support my larger backdrops, this stand will easily be able to hold all my smaller and lighter backdrops. Very sturdy, this stand doesn’t bow or bend in the middle and the rods lock together and won't come loose. Convenient assembly and take down for my business, runs smoothly thanks to these stands!
I am really impressed. I love that the height and width are adjustable to my needs. This product is sturdy and made of good quality material. It comes tucked away in it's own travel bag which is excellent quality as well. I am sooooo happy with this purchase and also love the fact the seller reached out to me to ensure that I was 100% satisfied with their product. I have to set up and take down my booth solo. I was a little worried about adding these to my setup, but they're very easy to set up and take down. I really like the way the height and width are flexible. I'll be using them at more shows than I anticipated because of that flexibility. The carrying cases are very handy and make them easy to tote to the setup location.
