yes i am an adult. so it's a weensy bit tight on me (surprised right. lol) but i didn't have the money on hand for the nearly $100 one that's out there and there are a few things i Needed something like this for. (won't bore you with details other than to say i have older cats and also some issues of my own i want to keep on top of)
for what i paid, i got better than i honestly expected from a "kid's toy". sure it's not professional grade but i can hear what i need to pretty easy. i was able to tell one of my "girls" needed to go to the vet for a watery sound in her left lung with no trouble. (by the way, thank you to the seller for that... she's my oldest cat and it may have just saved her life!)
now i will not tell you that this should be used Instead of a doctor visit or even a "real" stethoscope. but it's a good and useful product and works. not perfectly, but pretty good for what you pay. so yes, i say get this for your little ones. not only is it the perfect gift for your doctors/nurses-to-be but it will help make actual visits less scary for them as well having had some personal hands on experience with some of the tools they'll encounter.
They had career day at my son's elementary school and each child was allowed to dress in the job they want to have as an adult. My son wanted to be a doctor this year, so he needed a stethoscope. Decided to order this one because the price was reasonable and it had good reviews. It came fine just a few days later and it is a real stethoscope. It works very well and you can easily hear another's heart beating. Five stars so far!
Like a real stethoscope! So great that you want to be sure to read warnings such as to not talk into the stethoscope when someone has it on because it really picks up noise and could cause serious hearing damage. My daughter loves wearing them with her scrubs! It's fun for mom and dad too to listen to hearts! You get a good stethoscope for the price!
Bought this to go with a scrub outfit for my three year old for Halloween. He uses it all the time now. It's a little long for a toddler, but works, and he loves it!
Does the job for my 2 and a half year old. a bit tight but you can loosen that up by careful stretching. YOu can hear a faint heart beat and breathing as well.

We LOVE this product! The stethoscope really works. I do have to remind my little one to take them out of his ears when he gets a little loud. Great quality for the price and for it being a children's toy. We are very impressed.
This stethoscope is authentic, fairly well made and works. It was a bit tight in the ears and had to be adjusted without breaking it. But it worked well.
These were a Christmas gift for my son who says he wants to be a doctor someday. We use them all the time to listen to each others heartbeats and growling stomachs. This was a good stethoscope for the price and for some fun.
I wanted to get my daughter a stethoscope but did not want an entire kit with all the other pieces I would end up picking up all the time. This was the perfect item. The only negative is that since it actually works, it's a bit loud for small ears in my opinion.
I gave this to my 3 year old grandson. His mom and dad are both RN's. The face he made when he hears the heart is absolutely priceless. He kept saying I hear it I hear it. I'm happy I made this choice and my son was amazed at how well you can hear sounds. I would recommend this item.
