I bought this $20 device for my wife, a busy social worker, who takes physically and mentally disabled people out into our community and involves them in dance, music, art, water sports and more.
Some days, she has five clients in wheelchairs and two people on walkers at the beach, and she wants to take videos and photos of the crew enjoying themselves without them "playing to the phone camera" she holds in her hand.
Now she takes her phone, sticks in the convenient holder, sets up the tripod on a picnic table or in the sand, when there are unscripted moments of her clients being active, she clicks "ON' the phone's video recorder with the wireless blue tooth remote control.
Now the video moments and photos of her clients enjoying life are "real" moments of joy and my wife gets to participate as well as she is no longer holding the phone in her hand.
What makes this $20 gift more enjoyable is its very fine construction. It's like something "Q" would have designed for James Bond. When it is in the compact mode, it is smaller and as heavy or heavier than a collapsible umbrella.
The wireless Bluetooth clicker button snaps right into the collapsed tube which contains tripod legs, telescoping body, and igenious cellphone holder. Hold this thing in your hand, and its heft makes you think it's a weapon. And yet it fits into a back pocket, side pocket of a backpack, or easily into a lady's purse.
We are about to use this device to take photos of wildlife outside our cottage. No more humans will be holding phones to get the photos/shots while startling birds, deer, raccoons, iguanas, possum, snakes and more
We can now stand 50 feet away on our porch, click the rechargeable Blue Tooth button, and the camera aimed at a bird's nest takes close-ups of the mama bird landing in the nest to feed her young ones. Or we place the tripod holding a phone100 feet away by our mango tree for when a mama deer and her two fawns come by to eat mangos which have fallen from the branches.
I will close by saying that for $20, this is the perfect birthday, graduation, anniversary, or Christmas gift for anyone you love. And for someone such as myself, who has never taken a selfie in my life, I aim to use this in my first youtube videos where I show people how to repair lawn mowers, leaf blowers, weed whackers and more.
Until I stumbled upon this find on Amazon, I was thinking I'd be spending $100 or more for something to hold my cellphone steady. In this $20 device, I have all I need.
This selfie stick worked great! On a recent trip to Portugal, I did not check a bag at the airport. The stick is lightweight and portable, sturdy, and did exactly what I needed it do, even in high winds at the top of a Castle :)
This is a very stylish selfie stick. The engineers who designed it had some aesthetics in mind. Many selfie sticks and tripods have very "tech" and industrial look. This one is functional AND good looking.
At first glance it looks just like a compact umbrella. I like the size of it. I have large hands and it feels comfortable to me. The legs of the tripod are nicely tucked into the body. No one would even think there could be a tripod hidden inside. They are thin and delicate but I can live with that. I take good care of my electronics.
The telescoping arm is longer than your average selfie stick which is good. You can sit at a table and keep this tripod on the floor and it's still at a good level. The arm is a bit tight, it takes some effort to extend it but that's a good thing too. Many of these units open easily but then the top sections get wobbly. This one is solid.
The remote control worked with my Android cellphone without any problem.
The only thing it's missing is a GoPro mount. I was able to attach a universal GoPro connector to the top plate, using strong epoxy. Look at the photo. I guess I voided the warranty doing that. Oh well, I have to keep it now. ;) I will. I like this product. Five stars.

1. The quality is quite good, the texture in the hand is very good, very comfortable. The telescopic rod is smooth when used and has a moderate damping. It won't be like some products that have to be stretched out and feel like they are falling apart.
2. The Bluetooth connection is fast and stable, and it has not been broken in the middle.
3. Small size and easy to carry. This is a little shorter than the average selfie stick, and it doesn't stand up at all. Without the previous connection line, there is no longer any need to worry about the line being crushed when it is stored.
4. The red and blue lights look very comfortable, this design is great, at least personally likes to be colorful.

I take this little tool with me, it's a really great joy to take photos with trees and flowers there, some people walk across me, they are welcomed to stay with me to enjoy this 1-hour quiet monet in the morning.
I'll start by saying I barely write reviews. Only when something is really worse or good. This product was the latter.
Because I bought a plastic tripod selfie stick before, it's all good except the weakness that it's big and not easy for storage. I just begin my vacation with it.
But unfortunately, it was crushed during the journey, the material was too fragile and easily broken.
So I don't want to make this mistake twice, I began doing the more research about this kind of related products and trying to find the better tripod that can be durable and easy to fold and carry until I found this one.
1: All other selfies stick on Amazon are made of common plastic, but this type which I want to particularly mention is aviation grade aluminum.
2: The tripod and phone holder can be actually fully hidden with a single cylindrical body. it's delicately small and portable, and be used as a small weapon, I am just kidding.
3: It looks fashion and technical with its shiny surface that utilizes the anode process.
Then I decided to make the order, I received the product last Monday. We still have been using it for my one-week family vacation since Wednesday.
No doubt, the selfie stick looks beautiful and the tripod is stable. The Bluetooth remote is awesome and can be compatible with all my apps my phone and shot really fast.
More importantly, it's strong and simple. It's absolutely amazing, highly recommend.
My selfie stick was broken so I need a new one. Purchase by accident, but I am so happy about it.
The metal cover feels so soft and smooth, looks like very high-quality tech coming can only be seen in the Black Mirror.
The design is compact. It can be like a torch and can be easily put into your bag or even your pocket.
With the Bluetooth control, you can take a picture easily. I don't have to ask anyone to help to take me a picture anymore. Feels so great.

I bought this for christmas for my 12 yr old son. He loves it, and is using it to vlog for his youtube channel.
I brought so many selfie stick and this one is the best. The manufacture quality is VERY good. It's small and convenient to carry around, especially for travel. The tripod is really stable when in use. The Bluetooth remote control is very sensitive. Overall its an awesome product and I am so in love with it.
