Peonies Baby Cloth Pocket Diapers 7 Pack, 7 Bamboo Inserts, 1 Wet Bag by Nora's NurseryThese are the first and only cloth diapers I have tried and I love them. I washed the liners the recommended 4 times before using and we had no leaking at all. I'm amazed considering my huggies & pampers leaked poo at least twice a day. I figured i could try these and I would be saving money and instead of washing stained clothes it's diapers. I used the "quick wash" feature and there's no staining and they still look brand new (it's been a week). I hung them to dry over night and theyre dry by morning.
I did buy the disposable diaper liner for the poo. It sticks to the liner. Instead of flushing the disposable liner I just wrapped it (and the wipes) in a paper towel and threw that in the diaper genie. Then I put the wet diaper in the wet bag. I didn't notice any odor at all from the wet bag either.
The front zipper on my wet bag was damaged when I received it, but I responded to the email the company sent and told them about it and they said they would send me a whole new set of diapers! I'm so pleased that I went with this brand instead of the more expensive ones I was first looking at. I figured if cloth diapering didn't work out I would have some good swim diapers.
I would highly recommend giving it a try. & the prints are all SO cute!
I'm a mama of two and have been cloth diapering for over 2 years now. These have been the best diapers for our babies! I've tried quite a few styles/brands, including some that are $20 per diaper (yikes!) and these are by far my favorites! The prints are gorgeous, the stitching is sturdy, the snaps are simple and easy to use while providing the perfect amount of adjustability, the fabric is so soft, and the inserts are super absorbent! The wet bags are also wonderful, the perfect size for our diaper bag and can fit quite a few diapers as well as clothes.
During the day we use one insert and change every 2-3 hours (we've had a couple little leaks, but that's rare and to be expected with any diaper). At night we double up the inserts and she can sleep a full 10-12 hours with no leaks! I love the money we're saving by not having to buy disposables. I love that it's reducing the amount of trash we're putting in the environment. And I love how adorable they look!!!
I ordered the black and white set as well as the peonies set, both are stunning in person! The stitching on the white diaper from one of the sets was coming undone around the leg gusset when I received it. I sent Nora's Nursery a quick email with photos. They promptly and generously responded by sending me two new diapers! Outstanding customer service!
I definitely recommend anyone getting into cloth diapering try these out and join the Facebook group "Fluff Love & CD Science" to learn more about proper washing and care routines. You can ask any questions you have and the group has amazing feedback!
Before we go any further, you should know that I cheated on my favorite cloth diaper brand when I bought these...
I was a very loyal (almost extremist) fan of bumGenius pocket diapers. And I still am. However, my old diapers have started to lose their elasticity and I was having leaks this time around with my 2nd child. Cost was a huge factor for me as I had already spent about $500-700 on cloth diapers. I have always been anti anything NOT bumGenius, but I decided to give these a try.
The prints were the first thing that caught my eye, and let me tell you what, in person, these babies are BEAUTIFUL! The floral prints are especially gorgeous and all of the colors are so bright and vibrant.
The second factor was cost. At $60 for 7 diapers plus a wet bag (roughly $8.50 each), that's a huge difference compared to my go-to brand which cost $18 a piece.
I loved that these were pocket diapers because that's what I'm most comfortable with. However, these are extra special when compared to BG's because the inserts contain both microfiber AND bamboo. Anyone who knows cloth diapers knows that bamboo is where its at in terms of absorbency AND softness. After a few washes, microfiber gets rough to the touch, but these inserts are still soft and fluffy and I've washed them about 6 times already.
The fit: awesome. I've had ZERO leaks. And that my friends, is really all that matters when it comes to cloth. Who wants a diaper that leaks!? I even use these at night but I add an extra Geffen Baby insert

for added protection due to my heavy wetter!
All in all, I ended up buying ALL of the Nora's Nursery girl prints and I'm patiently waiting to see if there will be anymore. I find myself reaching for this first before any other diaper. While I still love bumGenius, I truly believe that these are the best option for someone wanting to cloth on a budget. You would of course need more than just 7 diapers; I would recommend at least 20 for one child, but take this set and times it by 3, that's still extremely cost effective.
Here's my review you can submit to Amazon, I will also do one for the other brand:
Great diapers! My 11 month old seems to be sensitive to disposable diapers. We've tried them all.... pretty much every type of every brand, organic, mail order... etc with pretty much the same result. She breaks out on her belly under the belly button or gets scratches on her legs that look similar to that of a cat (we have no cats). I'm not sure what's changed in the diaper manufacture process (I never had this problem with my two boys) but there's a lot of money spent on disposables just to have them cause discomfort. I noticed that most of them had rough spots toward the top front of the diaper on the inside, I believe this was what was causing her to break out. I used vaseline type products to try to create a barrier but it didn't work very well. I finally decided to give cloth diapers a try, it's a little more work but seemed worth it to see my baby comfortable. They came quickly and within a week I noticed a difference in her skin's appearance. The patches are fading, slowly but they are almost gone. I'm also using a couple types of moisturizers but I feel a majority of the change is due to the switch to cloth diapers. They are soft and there are no rough spots on the inside rubbing against her skin causing breakouts. They are adjustable and very easy to use and wash. Poop stains come right out, so I guess you could say they never really stain to begin with. I just rinse them before washing and most of the brown comes right out simply with water. The cloth inside and out is great quality and looks as though it will hold up to lots of wear. Very happy with these diapers!
I LOVE these diapers! I decided to give cloth diapers a try with my second child to save money. I chose these after reading some great reviews and of course falling in love with the prints! They are not hard to use at all. I follow the care instructions and they have held up well. I rarely have a leak unless it has been several hours (during sleep). I have not once had a blow out happen. The diapers hold everything in well. I use the diapers with disposable liners so solids do not go in the washer. I am very pleased with the diapers and the company. Give them a try! If I can do it, anyone can.

I bought these diapers as an affordable means to grow my stash. I absolutely love the pretty prints, and as far as a basic one size diaper goes, these are right on par with others like Alvas. I use them with extra bamboo inserts for my 5 month old, and I haven't had any leaks. In my experience, when a diaper is not on for a long period like overnight, leaking is often user error. If you make sure the diaper is snug fitting with no leg gaps or gaps in the waist and you don't leave the diaper on for hours on end (it is cloth, after all, and has limitations), then you should be good to go. This pack is a great value for what it is. The wet bag is really handy and my on-the-go wet bag that stays in my diaper bag. The only reason I don't give five stars is that after trying numerous brands (Thirsties, Bumgenius, Rumparooz, Imagine, Alva, Charlie Banana, Mama Koala, etc.), I find that I reach for the diapers with slightly wider elastic at the waistband or some where the covers seem to have a bit of stretch (like Rumparooz or Charlie Banana). They seem more comfortable for my baby girl and don't seem to dig at the waist quite as much as the basic pattern diapers like Nora's or Alvababy, although she is comfortable enough in those. Still, for what they are, I think they are well made diapers that absorb well and do their job. I grab them for shorter stints during the day or when I want an adorable pattern to be the star of an outfit. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to try their hand at cloth diapering without spending a fortune to get started. They also make great "fillers" for your stash in case you need some extras for those times when wash day gets pushed for some reason or another.
I have been trying to find the right cloth diaper system for us for months and finally decided on prefolds and covers. However they ended up being way too bulky and i could not fit them under her clothes. I kept seeing these Nora's nursery diapers pop up as a recommended item and finally decided to give them a try because the patterns are so adorable. Used them for the first time yesterday and they worked fabulously! They fit her perfectly and are much less bulky under clothes. My daughter gets frequent rashes from disposables and we had tried probably 7 different brands and all of them irritated her. After one day of using these her rash is totally cleared up. Even when the insert is soaked, the diaper does not feel wet to the touch and haven't had any leaks so far. Just ordered another set so we have enough to last all day and night before having to wash them. Love these diapers so far! My little girl is also named Nora so that makes them even cuter!
Beautiful prints. I am no stranger to pocket cloth diapers. We have used them for years. So far these seem to be made well but only time and lots of washed will tell for sure. We were looking for an inexpensive replacement for a brand that only lasted 18 months. The cloth is soft and the inserts are absorbant. The snaps seem of lesser quality than some of the other brands that we have used. Overall I feel like they are well worth the money spent.
This are my first cloth diapers. I also ordered alva baby diapers too and compared to their inserts Nora's Nursery bamboo inserts are my favorite. Very absorbent. Only concern about inserts is that the thread seems pulling off after each wash. Also my second concern is the fitting. My daughter is 20 lb but even on the last snap diaper seems too fit to her legs. Overall l would suggest and also keep all my mommy and mommy to be friends about this brand and using cloth diapers. I'm the first among all mommies around me so l try to encourage them to switch to cloth diapers. And l must add that everyone loves the prints too! Ohhh and the reason why l wanted to start with this brand is that people write good reviews about customer service which is true, l received an instruction and support email even before l received the diapers :)
I love these. They're incredibly affordable and the prints and colors are absolutely fantastic. Great quality diapers.
I bought these as a starter kit for my girl due next month, but couldn't wait to try them and ended up putting them on my 2 year old and he loves them. Comfy and we've had exactly 0 leaks.
